    @warrsm I got an email the other day that said they would be mailed in late May sometime. “A reminder about your bounty
    Remember, your out-of-this-world medals and shirts will arrive in late May.”.

    @warrsm It looks like the email was from April 20th! The subject is “Thanks to all our Star Wars Rival Runners. It was tucked down in that email. It has a reminder that you can submit your finish time. It also has a virtual goody bag.

    The weather was so beautiful Saturday morning that I decided to take a spur of the moment run :) It was 63*, cloudy, with a breeze which was absolute perfect running weather! Never got cold, never got hot. I took Leia with me because that energetic little thing needs to start running with me again. We did a quick loop around the neighborhood. I need to help her work on her endurance again because she keeps randomly stopping (sometimes right in front of me and it’s hard not to run into her) and I can’t tell if that’s because she sees cars and freaks out or what’s going on. She’ll happily walk that far without stopping so who knows.

    Time: 22:08
    Distance: 2.00 miles
    Pace: 11’03”

    My first mile was pretty killer (10’43”) but after that is when Leia kept stopping. Probably about 5 or 6 times :angry: it was nice to get out there and run in such perfect running weather :cool: I want to make this a more regular thing and I hope the weather allows. It’s May and we’ve still had so much rain and the mornings have been unusually cold (low 40s). Hoping it warms up just a little bit, give me 50s-60s that’s all I need!

    Woohoo! Great job @starbee and Trixie! That is really good time! It had to feel so good. Hoping you can have good weather and keep doing this with her. She’ll feel better too!

    I got in a couple ugly miles early yesterday in preparation for our zoo’s Dart Frog Dash 5k this Saturday. I’ve been walking a lot but virtually no running thrown in. This is going to be a brutal, horrific race! But on the flip side I’m thrilled to be able to finally do another in person one again! It will just be painfully slow!

    @nascfan
    We can’t win them all. My Spring Classic 5K was a struggle run for sure but I got it done! I think the in person race after so long will help push you through with adrenaline. You might do better than you think! And if it’s slow, whatever – you’re still lapping everyone on the couch ;)

    You’re right, I needed that reminder, thanks. And Ben’s doing it too so that helps!

    Our first in person race around here in over a year was today, the Toledo Zoo Dart Frog Dash 5k! I truly wanted to just meet Disney requirements, around 15 minutes a mile. I’ve been able to walk a fair amount but haven’t run at all in a long time over winter. Well, I did much better than I thought! 38:31 time for a 12:26 pace! 2 1/2 minutes better PER MILE than I was shooting for! I will take that any day of the week! Boy it felt good too, we’ve all missed in person races so very much! And this is by far my favorite race around here, it’s just a fun, family oriented event!

    Do they know something we don’t?

    I know @nascfan @RIDisneyPinGuy and I were talking about if/when rD races will return in person. I can’t remember where we had that discussion, and I can’t successfully search the forum right now on my phone. Apologies if this needs to me moved, I can edit later.

    Uh-oh. This does not look good. Our fears may very well have just been realized. :(
