RIDisneyPinGuy182 XPI was a big fan of Wolfgang Puck Express… In 2014 for Marathon Weekend, had an awesome salad, the girl I was dining with had the bacon-wrapped meatloaf and it was pretty impressive. Service was on the ball, prices decent, overall pretty awesome QS meal…
This past May, stopped there on our DTD day of our trip. Ordered the meatloaf and a slice of cheesecake to split. Meatloaf was half the size and a noticeable $ more than my last trip. Had to ask for our cheesecake three times. Cheesecake came out 20 min after we finished our meal (not good when on a tight schedule), and was still frozen
So, positives- food is really tasty, nice to have QS with real plates and flatware. Negatives- portions shrunk, prices jumped, service is hit-or-miss.
Moral- Great use of a DDP QS meal credit, not sure I’d pony-up cash for it again.November 15, 2017 at 9:36 am #55505Seriously I was not impressed with Blaze pizza or Dluxe burger. Just an average burger and pizza south of DC is a disaster!! This trip we only had 2 sit downs. Skipper cantten which was incredible and Cindy’s royal table. I much prefer just picking while walking around and having the flexability to eat when we want and what we want. Also the Sci – Fi place drives me nuts!!! The same TV loop plays over and over and over for the past 20 plus years!!! The food is mediocre at best. 50’s prime time is much better option IMO.

StupidJudy71 XPSo this weekend I made this little countdown frame, I found the printable countdown and numbers online, the background is paper from an old scrapbooking stash, had an old frame from the dollar store, spray painted it black, used packing tape on both sides of the numbers to make them a bit sturdier and then stuck little velcro circles on the back, this way every day I just change the numbers.
Almost time for Fast Passes! I need to work on the itinerary to make sure I know what to get !
Read an interesting tip someplace, it said when you log in to book your FPs, start by the last day and work backwards, has anyone tried that method?
November 27, 2017 at 10:05 pm #56879@stupidjudy this is so cool! You are so talented!
I don’t know about working completely backwards but that is not a bad idea. I know from personal experience that the later in your trip for Flight of Passage, the better chance you have of a FP for it. And no matter what day of the trip it is, try for that first. Then my own personal recommendation would be 7DMT and then fill in from there.

StupidJudy71 XPTomorrow is Fast Pass day! My list is ready to go, and as luck would have it the boys have a day off tomorrow so I don’t have to worry about getting them ready for school and can focus on getting what we need!
My Garden Grocers order is done, did it last night to make sure I get the 10% discount, it’s not much but covers half the delivery fee so I will take it! So we will be all set for breakfast and have enough drinks for our stay.
December 5, 2017 at 12:39 pm #57928I am so excited for your Fastpass day! I hope you get everything you want!

StupidJudy71 XPI will update this thread tomorrow with the results!
December 5, 2017 at 12:54 pm #57931Thanks! I’m enjoying following along with your planning!
December 5, 2017 at 1:12 pm #57932That countdown is amazing and adorable! do you have a plan figured out for making FPs? I personally don’t work completely backward because I figure everyone else is starting with Day 1 and I don’t want to miss out on the sooner dates. Not everyone has a window as long as I do so I figure those later dates are safe for a short time. The exception to the rule however is Flight of Passage. I would start with that first no matter what day it’s on and then do whatever else is your top priority next.

StupidJudy71 XP@starbee, thanks!
Exactly my plan, get the hard to get ones first then the rest.
I know it’s silly but I really want to see Frozen without waiting an hour so I will get a FP for that, normally we want Test Track but we can always get in the single riders line and that moves pretty quick usually. Bummer that Frozen, Test Track and Soarin are all in the same tier. Normally I don’t bother with other (second tier) FPs at Epcot, unless I happen to see some available on MDE when in the park. Example while in standby for Soarin, if I see Living with the Land then I will grab those for afterwards or SSE as we are leaving.
For Studios the usual Toy Story, Tower of Terror, Star Tours. Standby for RnRc or 4th FP if we get lucky.
Magic Kingdom, want to get Seven Dwarfs for sure, BTMRR and Space Mountain. I want to get in standby queue for Peter Pan to see the new stuff, still haven’t seen it!
AK is obvious, FoP and will work around whatever time is available, if available, and get Safari and Everest, we do single rider a lot but it’s nice to get a ride in with the gang together.
December 5, 2017 at 3:53 pm #57979This will be our first time seeing Frozen. I’ve never cared enough to waste a tier 1 on it when I love Soarin and Test Track. But we are lucky to have enough days at Epcot this trip that we could get one for Frozen and Test Track on different days.

We go to Epcot on our first night for a few hours and I am hoping to get either Soarin or Test Track but we will be staying in Future World so I am hoping to knock a few rides out that night! Our last day will be either MK or Epcot, which ever we feel we need to return to, so that day will be a play it by ear, or snag some last minute FPs if any, once we decide! We have two full days at AK and one at Studios.
