Okay so Hopper alerted me this morning that they found a great price on direct flights from YUL to MCO so I got those booked today, yay! No turning back now! We have a reservation at Pop Century (will ask for a renovated room on a higher floor) from February 3rd to 10th. We get in at 4h45pm, will go check in and get our MagicBands and off to a park we go! Which ever is open the latest! Our 7 day park tickets are already purchased since I took advantage of the 35% off for Canadians sale they had going on earlier this year.
Now I have to start planning our itinerary to be ready to book our FPs in December! :im:

Oh I totally understand, I would avoid my party of WDW goers too, but someone has to drive us!
I am hoping that by February, building 10 of the 70s section will be ready, that’s where I would want our room! I am a seventies child after all!
I have read online that 90s section is done and they are working on 80s, if anyone has info on Pop room renos please share!
Since there is a bridge that connects Pop to AoA I would like to take a stroll and go check it out.
So normally with the boys we don’t really book ADRs since they would rather do rides than sit in a restaurant, but this trip, I wanted to change things up a bit and got reservations near closing time, since the parks close early, we will have a late dinner, the park will empty out and we will have less of a wait for the bus to get back to the resort. I didn’t want to get the last ADR since the buses run an hour after closing and I don’t want to stress over that.
Rough plan so far:
Saturday we get in at 4h45pm, our friends should be picking us up at MCO to save a bit of time, check in at Pop, get our tickets linked to our Magic Bands and drive to Epcot. Other option is drive straight to Epcot, get our tickets at will call and check in later that evening, our magic bands are at the resort since they don’t mail them to Canada. I think we can use the card tickets for that one night? I will see if I can get some FPs for either Soarin, Test Track or Frozen (still haven’t seen it) and basically just hang out at Epcot for whatever time we can, I had bought the 7 day ticket, if I would have known we get in so late, I would have gotten the 6-day but oh well. I think it was a 15 dollar difference per ticket.
Sunday- Animal Kingdom, if we can’t get FPs for FoP then try to get there for rope drop and get in standby line (we’re not usually up early but we can try, this being our first day, shouldn’t be too bad). Lunch at Satu’li Canteen. Planning on spending two days at AK this trip and really taking in all the shows and do stuff we normally skip over, like Conservation Station and most of the shows. Park closes at 7, so maybe check out Rivers of Light (even though I have heard mixed reviews) and maybe walk around Pandora once it’s dark. This might be the evening we go over to Downtown Disney, probably get something to eat over there.
Monday – Epcot! Festival of the Arts will be going on so looking forward to checking that out. The past trips we sort of got stuck in Future World for most of our Epcot days, want to make sure we allow World Showcase some time. If we haven’t seen Frozen on Saturday, will try to get that done early in the day. Lunch will be at either Les Halles (we love pastries!) or Tangierine, we really enjoyed the chicken shawarma and the terrace is so pretty. So World Showcase during the day and then head over to Future World late afternoon. Dinner at Nine Dragons at 8h30, I haven’t been in years and it’s a pretty cheap table service, appetizer, entrée and dessert for around 25$ per person, can’t beat that! Maybe we will get lucky and get a table with a view of Illuminations, worse case, we will get the music! Then after dinner, stroll out and maybe check out a few stores along the way as they usher us out the park.

)@StupidJudy So excited for you! Resort reservations made, airplane tickets and ADRs booked. You’ve got a full-fledged Disney trip on your hands!! By the way, I’m a 70s child, too, so I totally understand your being drawn to the 70s building.
