Way to go everyone!!!!!! Today was our cross training day. Asylum Speed & Agility! I neither felt speedy now agile! Neither of us even wanted to workout. But we put the workout in the DVD player and hit play anyway! I swear the countdown was moving in slow motion and I was grumbly. But I felt so accomplished when we finished the 45 minutes!
June 15, 2017 at 6:04 am #33405You guys did great pushing through! Awesome job even when you weren’t feeling it.

June 15, 2017 at 8:39 am #33461@10dedfish I am seriously impressed with everything you do!
I ran 1.5 miles this morning in 21:10 doing 1 min run/2 min walk again. At the end of this week I will be changing my ratio now that I’m getting more comfortable with it. The last half mile got a little tricky but I didn’t quit! It was more humid today so I blame that :p

Great Job!
I agree, the humidity this morning was insane. My neighbor needed to walk 3 times during our run, when normally it isn’t an issue.Stop with the praise, you’re making me blush

Today I wrapped my hand up really tight so it would not be excrusiating with every stride and had great sucsess! Only problem was it just moved the pain to my lower Quads. Kept my average pace of 10:41 over 2.10 miles.
June 15, 2017 at 9:41 am #33483Just 2 short years ago I was at the top of my game. Doing my 5K’s in personal best 23:16, and the ToT 10 miler with an average of 10:06 per mile. What a difference 2 years make with 3 major injuries and age taking effect. Even though I’m not quite able to come to grips with my off times I fully understand that basically taking 2 years off will do that to you. I really do want to thank all of you for the continued inspiration to make this change!

I feel your pain bud. I haven’t had any major injuries, but it’s taken me several years to get to this point. 4 years ago I was 240 lbs and was so unhealthy I couldn’t hardly play with my kids for 2 minutes without needing a break. And your quite welcome! Thanks for joining us in here.
June 15, 2017 at 9:46 am #33485Great job @Jloosh78! Keep taking those steps, you’re on your way!
June 15, 2017 at 10:04 am #33487It’s so easy to regress but this forum is really encouraging! You’re getting out there so you’re doing something!
June 15, 2017 at 10:23 am #33492Does anyone else use Myfitnesspal to track their calories and macro’s?
June 15, 2017 at 11:08 am #33497I think this is appropriate for here. Especially for those “struggle days” which we all have at one time or another.
