RIDisneyPinGuy182 XPIt has been over a month since I broke the treadmill at the station. There is no ETA on repair, so last night I attempted to troubleshoot/fix it. Apparently one of the roller adjustment bolts sheared, and I think it may be officially RIP… Which means no replacement until at least July, or further. This will definitely impede my ability to train, so I’ll have to make the most of my days off
Oh man! That stinks!!! Way to break the TM!
That whole run I had this feeling of impending doom… The gerbil belt did not sound/feel quite right… Then a loud ‘BOOM!’ and the belt dead-stopped with less than a minute left in the workout. :|
I think the TM was a hand-me-down (as most of our fitness equip. at the FD) and it is not commercial-grade… Maybe I’ll get lucky and they’ll giveme the green light to price out a new one :pJune 11, 2017 at 12:00 pm #32717Keep up the awesome work @eeyorepoohfan!
Thank you!!!!!!

That’s scary!!!! And I’m sure that it was nerve wracking feeling that impending doom! And super bummer to had it dead stop right before your finish! Ryan found this treadmill, you know it’s expensive since they don’t list prices. But no motors. You are the motor! This would work well for me with my walk/run method! See if they will approve it! https://www.woodway.com/products/curve-xl
June 11, 2017 at 12:10 pm #32719@RIDisneyPinGuy Ryanfiund a review on it! They loved it! All for a mere $8000!!
June 11, 2017 at 1:42 pm #32722Sunday run day here. Yesterday was insane, running from gymnastics to camp orientation to a birthday party, so no time for a run yesterday. That messed up my schedule for the week, because we are out of town Thursday – Sunday. Oh well.
Week 4 is officially history.
I kept up a similar run pace today. Next time I’ll dial my speed back, but add a little incline like @10dedfish recommended.
Final stats:
C25K, Week 4, Day 3
31 minutes, 35 seconds
2.179 miles
June 11, 2017 at 3:30 pm #32728@kcboston I did my run today too! It’s important to be flexible on schedule of running sometimes! Life happens! Way to get it in! Yes, use at least some incline, even a .5-1 makes a world of difference! If I run on the TM at 0.0 , my back is killing me when I’m done with just a few miles.
June 11, 2017 at 7:39 pm #32742Great job Heather and Kelly! You ladies are awesome! Way to make adjustments when needed Kelly.
That treadmill, “only” $8000!
We got way too late of a start for our Sunday morning routine. Tough to get moving and by the time we got out there at 10:00 it was already hot! But we got in a solid 2.1 and kept our pace under the magical 16:00. My princess was really pushing herself in the heat, so proud of her!

Thanks bud!

Too bad you guys couldn’t ask for a treadmill donation on facebook, people are trying to offload used treadmills all the time. At least to get you through the interim

bexruns374 XPSlept in this morning, so run after work. Maybe.
I did a 3 mile hike with the kiddo on Saturday and 3 mile run yesterday.
I probably *should* run today/tomorrow/Weds since Thurs-Sun I’ll be at the lake where I can’t run (the roads have no bike lane and it’s all windy through mountains. I have no desire to become someones hood ornament) since the trail I usually run there will be under water.June 12, 2017 at 10:43 am #32866That’s nice to wait and go with the family @10dedfish.
Good job hiking and running this weekend @bexruns!June 12, 2017 at 1:21 pm #32903
