@eeyorepoohfan Glad you got a 2 mile walk in with Winnie! I hope you get to run soon! Thank you! I’ve been taking vitamins to try to help with my fatigue and lethargy, so hopefully I can keep the routine going! It’s not being tired or sore from running, I don’t know what it is. Even when I haven’t been running, getting up in the morning has been a struggle and I’ve felt like I have no energy to do anything at all by the afternoons. I’ve been taking the vitamins for about 2 weeks I think and this week hasn’t been as bad so hopefully they’re working!
May 19, 2018 at 7:38 pm #76487@nascfan Thank you! as soon as my 1.5 mile time is down to 14:00 or less, I won’t be worried about basic at all! Those around me who’ve been through it keep telling me that with a 15:00 mile and a half, I’ll be at a passing time by the end of BMT, but it would still make me nervous to ship out with that being my best time. I want to keep working on it so that if my time is already a pass before I ship, I can feel way more at ease. At this rate I’ll have plenty of time to work on it too
May 19, 2018 at 8:12 pm #76488@10dedfish I applaud you! That humidity is awful, I don’t know how you ran 4 miles, let alone at a 10’00” pace!

10dedfish177 XP@starbee It takes a lot of practise. That’s the norm here in the Summer. Heat index usually hangs out in the triple digits.
May 20, 2018 at 12:39 pm #76562I got in my first run in four weeks! I haven’t ran since our half marathon at WDW last month. The air quality was still bad today but I just needed to get out and run! I was wheezy and phlegmy. It was 75* by the time I finished. I was slowing down by my third mile. But it felt good and I was happy with the pace I managed!
May 20, 2018 at 7:35 pm #76602@eeyorepoohfan you dis absolutely awesome! Not only for the bad air but with your pace after four weeks off. And it was hot for a run! I am so impressed! You are awesome!
May 20, 2018 at 10:09 pm #76612@nascfan Thank you!!! Dis is awesome! I am paying for it a bit this afternoon/evening. My lungs are still tight and my eyes are super itchy. But I’m so glad I got it in!!!!
May 20, 2018 at 10:11 pm #76613@10dedfish Wow! That was an amazing run you got in! I finished my run this morning at 75* but we were below 20% humidity! That high humidity is just killer!!
May 20, 2018 at 10:20 pm #76614@starbee I did get my run in today! My allergies are angry with me now, but I got in a 5k run this morning! I hope your vitamins continue to help! I honestly have chronic fatigue. It doesn’t seem to matter what I do, I’m just always tired. It’s frustrating. Maybe I need to up my B vitamins or something. Though I did get a great night of sleep on Friday night and felt refreshed when I awoke yesterday! It was amazing!

May 21, 2018 at 9:23 am #76666@nascfan No, no you won’t live dis down! I still feel tight in my lungs, but I feel a bit better after our stretching workout.
May 21, 2018 at 9:25 am #76669May 21, 2018 at 9:26 am #76670@eeyorepoohfan Great job on the run! 75* is pretty warm but you went a good distance at a great pace! Sorry about your allergies now though thank you, it’s always worse for me in the winter time so I take vitamin D. I’m usually over it by the time the increased daylight and good weather rolls around, but I’m struggling more this year for some reason. I will keep taking the vitamins and hopefully life will calm down enough that I can try to get to bed earlier too!
May 21, 2018 at 9:31 am #76671It stormed yesterday morning so I did not run as I intended, but switched things up and ran this morning instead. Hubby came with me and I envy him because he hasn’t run in 18 months but was able to knock out three miles this morning to his credit he does do P90X every morning but still, running’s a little different.
It was 64* which was great running weather and the sun wasn’t up yet so it felt a little cooler. I slowed a little at times to make sure hubby could keep up with me, and we were running in the neighborhood so we had to stop a couple times to let cars pass before we could cross the street. That made for a pretty slow pace but what can you do.
Total Time: 35:37
Total Distance 3.00
Pace: 11’51”Hubby said he does not want to run again tomorrow I haven’t decided yet what my running will look like this week. I want to get two more 3 mile runs in this week and at least one sprint session in too.
