    @starbee that is so awesome that they are finding out why you are in pain! Now they can work on fixing it. This is huge progress and I am so happy that you went and this was discovered. You will be much better after this!
    Good luck on your run tonight! Enjoy those temps! i’ll take two thirds of them please, and I’d be very happy!

    @nascfan He’s confident this will help. I don’t know what to think. The x-ray looked so jacked up it seems like it will take more than this but I’m keeping an open mind. I hope I’m all fixed up and ready for BMT whenever I go. The downside is a Disney trip (or any vacation this year for that matter) is definitely out the window now. We’re having to use our vacation fund to pay the chiropractor :(

    @starbee you’d be amazed at what they can do. You can ask Heather, she’ll tell you with first hand knowledge.
    I am so sorry that you won’t be able to come! Or take a vacation! That is so hard I am sure, and you will be very missed. But look at it this way, it’s better to have your body fixed and well. That’s for life. And you don’t want to risk further injury in BMT.

    morning all!

    My run day is tomorrow, plan on doing at last 8-9 miles. Half marathon is April 15th. Instead, I broke out the ab wheel and did 4 sets of 20, nose to the floor and back. If you guys have never used one, I so recommend it. Killer on the core, from shoulders and arms all the way to the quads.

    @nascfan I’ve never been to a chiropractor before so that’s kind of why I don’t really know what to expect. It is hard. It’s nice to have something to look forward to when the days get tough and I was really hoping we’d make it to the D-Cot meet, especially with hubby being super excited to go back to WDW. Maybe I’ll end up in training then anyway and then I’ll have a better reason not to be going. Hopefully this meet will be successful and Steve will do one again next year when I can go :) I’m glad to be treating with the chiro, it’s just a bummer not to be able to take a vacation. The more I think about it, the more I realize I have oodles of problems that are probably all stemming from the same thing, I know I need to set that right. And he’s not outrageously priced, Obamacare has messed with my insurance. I need to graduate basic so I can qualify for TRICARE :P

    Got my second run of this week in yesterday after work. It was 78* and sunny, the hottest weather I’ve run in for a long time! We went to the trail and hubby walked Trixie and Leia ran with me. 2 min walk/30 min run. This was the hardest it’s been for quite a while. This is my second week running these ratios and I don’t know if it was the heat, or running after a long day at work, but it was a challenge to finish, I was so glad to be done! I clock watched a lot which I haven’t done in a while. 10 minutes left, 6 minutes left, 4 minutes left, 2 minutes left, I couldn’t stop checking the timer. But I made it through and plan to run again tomorrow.

    Total Time: 32:00
    Total Distance: 2.80 miles
    Total Running Time: 30:00

    I am going to die during PT in San Antonio

    @starbee that’s where Heather comes in. She can give you a wealth of information, just ask.
    It really hurts that the cost is causing you to miss the meet and vacation. But you really do want to be fixed. It’s a tough situation.
    Great job pushing through on your run! I’ll bet it was a combo of warmer temps and being tired from work. I know our sessions in the evening feel a whole lot harder than in the morning. And that’s without warm temps. You did awesome!

    That guys body is scary!! That grosses me out so much.
    LOL
    And like you, I’ll pass on the wheel. I’d end up face planting and break my nose
    :P

    @10dedfish
    kudos to you for possessing the ability to do that exercise. 30 years ago I would have been killer with that thing! But not anymore!!

    @10dedfish Glad the rain stopped! It’s a real hindrance to running sometimes. I have done that ab wheel before when I used to kickbox, that was part of our workout sometimes

    @missingWDW
    I agree, that’s not attractive :down:

    @Nascfan
    Thanks! How is your training going? I’ve reached out to Heather, I’m hesitant to go back tomorrow because I’m still hurting from Thursday :(
