Hang in there @warrsm and @starbee. I’m right there with you! My problem is still sweets. I just can’t seem to get rid of this sweet tooth. One of my goals is to eliminate desserts from my diet. Definitely easier said than done for me.
Sugar kills me!
I was thinking back to last summer and how I changed my eating habits up a bit and how it was working for me. Last year I was really watching my sugar intake/day AND I had my last meal of the day by 4:30. Sometimes 5:30. But that last part REALLY helped. I actually started it again a few days ago and, like last night, I found myself in the kitchen at 9:30 looking to grab ANOTHER handful of almonds and I thought, Nope! I’m done eating until tomorrow morning.
Late night snacking has been doing me in. And it’s almost always something sweet. The time cutoff really helps. So I won’t eat from 4:30/5:30 until 6:30/7:00 the next morning. It ain’t easy, but it helps!
