    @missingWDW Thanks! :) hahaha, after my alarm went off today I fought with myself for 15 minutes before I actually got up to run :P

    @10dedfish
    I almost wish I woke up that early naturally so I could get more stuff done! But then I would probably crash by lunch time and regret it LOL

    Great @10dedfish !! I ran on the treadmill yesterday at my home and it was worse than running outside LOL I was absolutely sweating like crazy but I managed to do 3 miles :)

    @breesmommy5 I hate the dreadmill! I’d much rather run outside.

    Doing well for this first week! I kept my June challenge the same as May. Looking for consistency.

    So I was doing some resistance exercises when in the middle of my side lunges my thigh cramped up. Now I feel like it’s strained.
    What?!
    :donald:
    I sure hope it feels better by tomorrow morning so I can run!
    :surprised:

    @missingwdw GIRL! I feel your pain! I picked the total wrong day to start going to the gym again! I went Monday afternoon, I ran 4 miles that morning, and figured I would be fine to run again by today. Nope! I am SO sore! Everything hurts! Arm, shoulders, abs, hips, thighs, I did not think I went that hard :( couldn’t run today, I feel like an old woman. So to make up for it, I think I’ll do 8 miles tomorrow. I hope you feel better tomorrow!

    This may sound weird, but this evening eat some bananas as well as dill pickles. Both are very good for muscle cramps. To try and get the quad to release, do some slow stretches on your quads. Give it at least 45 sec to a minute before you try to progress into the stretch.

    Well yesterday was going to be a rest day because of baseball but we had storms so baseball was canceled and after my fourth cookie I decided to go run the treadmill at the gym, I did 3 miles on the treadmill and then came home and my daughter wanted to walk so i did three more, it was nice outside because the rain it stopped and it was cool and breezy !!

    @10dedfish thanks
    Wish I saw this last night
    Lol
    Bananas, yes. Pickles, no.
    Ha!
    I still went out for my run this morning but walked after every mile and only ran 4. My quad was hurtin.
    :(
    Tomorrow’s an off day for me, so maybe a banana later and it’ll be another 48 hours before I run again. Hopefully the rest will help. I’ve been stretching, but ugh….it’s sore!

    @missingwdw You could also try taking some magnesium and potassium supplements those would help as well. In addition, cycle heat and cold presses on it will increase the blood flow and healing. Soaking in the bath with hot water and Epsom salt is also beneficial.
