That’s interesting. We love the food court at Pop, lots of different options for us to choose. And if we really want something different we can just walk over to AoA for something from Landscape of Flavors. One thing I’ve never had any complaints about is the cleanliness of anywhere on WDW property. Never have I found anything to be or seem dirty at all.
Jamie, I think you guys are going to love AoA!

StupidJudy71 XPJamie even though AoA is considered a Value it’s pricier than the All Stars for some reason (Little Mermaid rooms anyway), the fact that it’s newer it’ll probably be great! I will have to go check it out sometime, the grounds look neat!

RIDisneyPinGuy182 XPWe are staying at AoA this June…I hope that even though it is considered “value” of sorts that the quality is higher than the All-Stars. Truthfully i just thought the Cars rooms look fun and i was excited at 3 beds and 2 baths!!
I find that AoA being part of the “Value” resorts is a bit of an unfair label. The price surely is not in the value range, the quality of service is on-par or better than our experience with the moderates. I’m certain the room-size and amenities being on-par with PoP drag AoA down a category… However, outside of lacking in a TS dining, the resort is truly of moderate quality for sure.
We found the selection and quality of Landscape of Flavors similar to Sunshine Seasons (though a bit slow at peak times for some menu items), and there was more than enough space to enjoy meals comfortably. The Big Blue Pool was excellent, the kids activities were great, and the laundry was surprisingly nice.
I cannot express enough positives about the staff, the bussing was on-point, the resort was very clean, and the room was comfortable (Nemo Suite). I was very anxious about our choice since for our trip we could have stayed at POFQ for $800 less or Contemporary for $800 more…
I would pay for AoA without hesitation tomorrow if I could book another trip. It was that good.April 24, 2017 at 11:39 am #23698

It is super cool… As one of our friends so eloquently put it, the resort “throws-up Disney”. But if you like well-themed resorts, you will totally geek-out at it.

This is why we didn’t like Pop when we stayed there. The huge statues everywhere gave me Disney Anxiety!

“Throws-up Disney” Love it!
We’ve stayed at Sports a few times and for whatever reason we really prefer that one! The boys love to run across the football field.

@stupidjudy Yes I’m not sure why… it gave me a weird anxious feeling. Because of that, we’ve only stayed at a value that 1x. I really do want to give AoA a try though for next year. The suites look really cute!April 24, 2017 at 12:38 pm #23725
StupidJudy71 XP@acamm they have the big icons there too though! The resort looks beautiful though, maybe I can convince the boys to stay in a Little Mermaid room

unphiltered22 XPI will admit @StupidJudy, it has been a very long time since i have been at a value resort. Probably since 2013? There is no judgement on anyone’s part, especially when you are trying to get the best out of your money at WDW. The past few times we have gone, we have splurged more on room (unless we rent DVC points and we save a ton of money) and only visited the park a day or two. That might not be possible for most, but we find it works for us since our son is still so little (2 1/2yrs old).

Yeah I need to research more about AoA. Maybe we can plan a few hours to go walk around AoA in September. We like the size of the suites there for the price that they offer. We shall see
April 25, 2017 at 7:36 am #23839I have talked to two people lately going on trips and they are both staying at the Poly. We have stayed at Saratoga twice, but that’s as deluxe as we have gone…my hubby is a moderate guy i guess and can’t justify the cost. i tell myself it’s because these people are only going ONCE, not 1-2 times a year like i do

StupidJudy71 XPI wish I had a Poly budget! Maybe one day! It’s nice to have dreams!
