Kids meals! You guys eat like birds!
With two teenagers (one who would eat his meal and part of mine) the free dining is definitely the best deal for our family!
Depends on the kids meal! I do a bit of what Scott talks about, I like to share or gets kids meals. This is the kids pasta meal at Sassagoula Float Works at POFQ, it was $5.99 plus tax. So. Much. Food.

Now that I do believe! Especially boy teenagers! Do you have like three fridges in your house? It makes good sense for your guys for sure.
Something funny, we’ve found that the breakfast platter for “kids” is one of the best values on property. It’s less than half the price of the adult platter, the only thing you don’t get with it is the waffle and biscuit, and you DO get your drink and fruit included! It is a ton of food for $5.00 and we’ll get a milk and water, split the milk and keep the water for the backpack and in the parks that day.
March 7, 2017 at 2:27 pm #16543At the moment there is a deal for 25% off tickets for Canadians until end of May, which is a great deal but if I buy tickets then I can’t get the free dining on a package if it’s available!
I’ve decided that Disney is racist against their own non-Americans get way better deals! Last year I had my parents buy my Blue Man Group and Halloween Horror Nights tickets in France because Europeans got a way better deal, saved us a ton! Then this year I had them buy my Disney tickets because I saved a bunch of money on a 14 day ticket, plus they threw in Memory Maker and La Nouba for free
Unless you are their neighbor (FL residents) or from another country, then you get the short end of the stick :p

That’s another good example Kelly. We’ve found that a lot of kids meals are like that, you just have to see what’s out there. And I really like that there is a drink and fruit included with every meal. The small waters are great for backpacks as I mentioned above, and eating the fruit makes me feel a little less guilty about all the ice cream and treats I have while there!

That’s no joke! I would get that! I’m with y’all, there are some places where a kids meal is plenty. It helps to save money, but it’s not just about that for me. I don’t want to get an adult meal when I know I can’t eat that much and will throw half away. Plus sometimes the kids get better options! my husband is like Joey from friends, he will NEVER share his food with me!

Mine too! I’m always trying to get him to split stuff, and he just looks at me and says “Yeah, if we split it, then I’ll be hungry and need another meal” When I went with my friends we did a lot more meal splitting, the fajita platter at Pecos Bill’s was a great one to split! It was $15 for the platter, I think an extra $1 for more tortillas, and you load up with the toppings bar and have a substantial meal
March 7, 2017 at 2:44 pm #16559Pop does have free dining (well at least they have in the past). We are booked there in September and hoping for free dining. However, if free dining comes with having to add the hopper, then we might have to switch to one of the All Stars.

Oooh, that’s right, we had to add the Hopper to get the free dining and we were at Sports.

Yeah if we split something, he gets a “second lunch” right after *eye roll* some meals he looks at (even the adult portion) and says “That’s a snack” :| Good plan Batman! I’ll have to remember that! My parents are tagging along on my next trip, so there might be someone to share food with

Probably because us foreigners have to deal with crappy exchange rates! :'(
March 7, 2017 at 3:30 pm #16578All the reluctant husbands when it comes to meal splitting. I’m totally the same way with my wife. Few things out there I’m willing to split and feel content about it.

So basically, you guys all need to dine together and us wives will go someplace else so we can be kind and share meals?

That hurts doesn’t it? Oh, and sorry about completely hijacking your thread talking about meals!

I miss the good old days when our dollar was at par!
No worries about the thread, food is always a good subject.
