Oh yeah, I know Disney get their facts straight. I’m not saying I don’t like them or that Off Kilter didn’t belong there, I just never knew why there was Irish sounding music in Canada. Now I do
And that’s the kind of stuff that I love about World Showcase in EPCOT. The things that show us a little about the culture of the country, that maybe we didn’t know before. And one of the reasons I disliked the decision to put a Frozen ride in Norway so much. Because it has absolutely nothing to do with Norway in actuality.
I didn’t mean to sound rude or condescending above. Reading back I may very well have. And if I came across that way, I sincerely apologize to everyone.

StupidJudy71 XPSAME. The first time I heard it on here, I went to favorite it and was like “Canada Paviliion? Really?”
Canadians love Irish music?
Lots of bagpipes in the Eastern provinces !

Holy Bagpipes Batman!
Contrary to popular belief, the bagpipes were not invented in Scotland or Ireland. It is widely believed that the pipes were originally created in the middle east, with supporting evidence in Egypt and eventually Greece and Rome.
Perhaps Off kilter in Italy?
March 26, 2017 at 7:03 pm #19512I’m saddened to say I’ve never been a huge fan of Animal Kingdom. It’s always too crowded for my liking, and the park always seems somehow hotter than the rest of the parks, even on cloudy days. I also just don’t find the stench of large animals very appealing.

I have heard people with similar opinions as you. Which is GREAT for me, because I love Animal Kingdom so much and its never crowded!

captaincool0 XPhere is my unpopular opinion: I don’t really enjoy Star Tours. I’m not a fan of simulators in general, but Star Tours just disregarded the canon and it makes my a tad angry.

It was cool the first time or two… Now it is “meh” at best for me. The exterior theming is still pretty well done IMO :r2d2:

We use AK as a “down” day to get away from the hustle and bustle of the other parks. Great park to stroll around and relax and catch some fantastic live shows!
it there! My unpopular opinion: I don’t get the big deal over ToT.
Rode it once. Wasn’t impressed.
Maybe I had a lame ride sequence???April 3, 2017 at 11:10 am #20779

Maybe I had a lame ride sequence???It’s possible. I’ve ridden it probably close to 100 times (there was one day we rode it 5 times!) and I’ve had lackluster experiences occasionally. I think too, that if the ride operator has a “meh” attitude and isn’t totally into it, you already go in with lowered expectations and it can just throw the whole thing off, thats just my opinion so take that as you will.

StupidJudy71 XPI love love love Tower of Terror, it could be that it was just an “off” sequence, then again it depends if you like the zooming up and falling feeling! I have friends who don’t care for it, it doesn’t give them a good/fun feeling.

bexruns374 XPMy unpopular opinion is strictly a Disneyland one. I’m not sure if they do this on the WDW-but ever since they started doing the Fantasmic! FP, the seating is so bad. I was one of those people who would show up early ( I don’t mean like 3pm or anything) and stake out my spot. We were usually right against the fence in the front, so not up in anyones way before they set up the ropes to section off the seating area.
Now, we get FP early in the day and it gives you a color section. You show up at your designated time and we were way in the back.-_-. Whats the point of having a FP if I have some of the worst viewing spots!? Especially when my kids and I are barely 5ft tall and we wind up in a standing room only section behind people. Such a jokeApril 3, 2017 at 12:11 pm #20793Thinking of thrill rides like ToT…I actually ENJOY a ride on Mission: SPACE at the Orange level too! I think it’s one of the coolest sensational experiences I can’t find anywhere else! My opinion is so unpopular, however, that I’m the only person I know who will even ride it! :p

My son rides orange, I stick to green because I am too worried that I won’t feel well the rest of the day! My youngest son would rather not ride it at all.

Mark me down as in your unpopular camp. I love, love, love the feeling of blast off! And the weightlessness that follows, the closest I’ll ever get to being a real astronaut. I guess I never thought of loving it as being unpopular, but you’re right. It is a much maligned attraction.
