I don’t know how many years I and my wife will be in good enough physical shape to do the races, or God forbid even go to the parks. Tomorrow is promised to no one, and what I hate most of all is that all of this may be robbing me of my last visits to WDW, ever.
I hope and pray this is not the case… especially since we haven’t met up down there yet (totally selfish reason, here

Feeling quite similar. Since affording vacation is going to be questionable at best, I’m afraid to think about going to Disney because it’s truly my escape from everything. And I don’t think they can provide that real escape right now (no fault of theirs at all). Until I can go and not have to have a second thought about where I’m standing or how I’m breathing or who might not be following these new safety measures, we will need to wait. But if @nascfan would be there for an actual meet, I will need to be able To experience that hug and not stand six feet apart
My unpopular opinion: I hate the new pink paint job on Cinderella Castle. It’s horrid and looks like a less bumpy and slightly less gaudy version of the Cake Castle. I know I should reserve judgment until I see it in person…but the more pics I see of it, the more I hate it!

I think what bugs me the most about it is that it’s half pink on the top and middle, and then the bottom is still gray. It looks SO weird!! And that pink is just so….PINK!

Really? I thought it was looking super subtle. I could barely see much difference. I’m gonna have to look again now.
@Disneydana all the pics I’ve seen of it so far make it look like a very bright pink and with the contrast of the royal blue roofs, it just looks garish to me
But, like I said, I know I need to see it in person. Maybe those pics were filtered or the light was a certain way making it look brighter. That’s what I’m hoping, anyway! @laprana i agree…this castle is not meant to be pink…in the original movie it always had blue tones. i don’t get this. there are so many things they could spend their money on in the parks…fix the country bear jamboree sound system, take care of carousel of progress so his head doesn’t fall again during a show, fix the tomorrowland speedway cars…there are so many places…just ask those of us who go all the time!!
