Nice legs! I mean mug! LOL Happy Friday

I forgot to share! Over the weekend I registered for another 10k! I’m super excited! :) This is the race I wanted to run last year but it was sold out :( I made sure to register early this year  it’s in late April so hopefully I will now stick to my training and be well prepared!

That’s awesome! I have no races between now and LA weekend so I’m really just focusing on making sure I go out and run no matter my mileage. Like this morning! Alarm went off and I managed to drag my butt outta bed LOL See? I did the thing LOL

@nascfan Thank you! :) that’s what I was thinking, usually it’s not cold but it’s not hot yet. Having said that, my 10k last April was low 40’s and pouring down rain, so we’ll see I guess :P y’all get to go first with your Star Wars races ;)

Finally had warm enough temps to get out and run today. There was still a dusting on the ground, but it wasn’t slippery, and the sun was shining so bright! Loved it!
I had to eventually turn off my running app and just run without tracking. The map looked like a 2 year old scribbled out my route. The gps was not working, and it was telling me I was pacing 6:30/mile.
    LOL BLAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! LOL
Not even in my prime have I paced that fast!
Tried twice to get it to work. I gave up. It’s all good. My goal is always just to get my miles in anyway, not hit a certain time.
So after 3 days off, I thankfully got my 6 miles in.

@missingwdw that really, truly means so much to me! Thank you!
And great job on getting your 6 miles in! You’re right, pace doesn’t matter, and especially in winter weather. I’m so proud of you!

That is exactly what happens to me when I try to run in the gym we have at work! So frustrating! It either thinks I’m going nowhere or it thinks I’ve done four times what I have and tells me I had an incredible pace LOL 6 miles is really awesome! You go girl!

I completely destroyed myself weight lifting on Wednesday and I’ve been so sore I could barely sit down and walk. So that threw a wrench in my running plans for this week :( I’m feeling recovered and normal today for the first time since and the weather was so perfect for running but… after becoming a foster parent back in June (literally the day before I got my orders to BMT, naturally) we received our first placement last night! It’s exciting but lordy, how do you moms of young kiddos do it?! I had no time to run today, the young padawan was attached to my hip! I’m hoping I’ll be able to sneak out Monday morning before she wakes up.
