@missingWDW Don’t worry about it! You only need a proof of time if you want to submit a time under 2:45. You can select estimated finish time of 2:45 and likely be in the second to last corral. They release each corral in waves of approximately 1k people. You are speedy and can just weave your way forward! It’s not ideal, but totally doable!!

December 5, 2018 at 10:46 am #96639@10dedfish I am not tech savvy. I noticed that there is no longer a 2019 tab on our excel sheet for races. Do you know how to correct that?
December 5, 2018 at 10:56 am #96642@eeyorepoohfan It should be there now!
December 5, 2018 at 11:18 am #96646@10dedfish Thanks!! I went ahead and added in my race!

December 5, 2018 at 12:28 pm #96661Hi everyone!
I know it’s been a while since I’ve checked in, but I assure you I’m still running
I’m about 3 weeks into my marathon training for LA, and so far it’s going pretty alright. Since we’ve moved I’ve had to find a couple of new routes to run which is challenging since now we live in an area with more hills, which I hate (although I know training on them is actually the best).
I’ve got a couple of small races between now and then but nothing too major and all I’m concerned with now is my endurance and not necessarily my time. The biggest plus during the Ventura Marathon in October was I never really truly hit the wall at any time and I felt pretty ok the whole time. I always have an issue between miles 17-23 during LA and I’d really like to avoid that next year.Wishing you all happy running!
December 5, 2018 at 12:32 pm #96662You’re doing fantastic @bexruns! Keep up the great work! You will be and do awesome!
December 5, 2018 at 3:00 pm #96669Just did a work out and now I’m falling asleep at my desk.
How the heck did I get so old? Exercising kills me lately. But, I am lucky that I can get it in sometimes at work. No one ever thinks anything of me exercising during the day…” Oh, the gym teacher is at it again”
Guess I picked a good occupation
After my last run the back of my right knees suddenly started hurting. Pretty bad. I actually had to take ibuprofen which I hadn’t done in a long time. It was sore again today at work. I’m hoping it’s not bothersome tomorrow when I run. Ugh. Again, old age…..
December 5, 2018 at 3:04 pm #96670@eeyorepoohfan, thanks for the info. I did find a 10K about an hour from me that is taking place a week from now, but it’s a trail run. Ummmmmm, no. I’m not crazy like @RocketEAR99
I like my flat paved surfaces, thank you very much.
I’m not stressing over it. My friends probably won’t run anyway. Maybe I’ll just do the Flying Pirate next year with @10dedfish instead….
December 5, 2018 at 3:05 pm #96671AnonymousInactiveXPLots of people have issues in miles 17-23: that’s the wall! You’re doing great!
