    I did a run on Sunday – 30 minutes, 2.20 miles, 13’40″/mile pace.

Also ran yesterday – 30 minutes, 2.22 miles, 13’30″/mile pace.

Looks like the remnants of Hurricane Michael are going to stymie my Thursday running plans :P

    Did a paced run last Friday – 2.21 miles, 0:30:00, 13’35″/mile pace
And an experimental distance run on Sunday – 2.50 miles, 0:38:58, 15’36″/mile pace

For the experimental run, I walked the first full mile, then only ran 10 seconds per minute for the remaining 1.5 miles. It actually resulted in a reasonably fair pace! :surprised:

Awesome. Incorporating walk/run can not only keep a reasonable pace it often allows you to stay out and go much further. Congrats!

Finally got a run in today. 7:49/mile pace for 15:47 for two miles. That’s the fastest I’ve run in a LONG time! :)

I’m no runner, but i do like my Disney History. Here’s a video from one of my favourite Disney Youtubers that you all may find it interesting :)

Yesterday evening I completed another paced run:

    Distance: 2.26 miles
    Time: 0:30:00
    Pace: 13’16″/mile

It’s too soon to tell yet. I’m going to see how things go over the winter and through next spring, but I REALLY want to do Disney Marathon Weekend 2020! :pluto: :minnie: :donald: :) :goofy: :dopey: As long as I can keep a qualifying pace, I want to do it!

Took my PT test yesterday and got 16:22 on the 2-mile run. Not bad for me. I’m going to keep running and I hope to get into the 15’s by April.

On Sunday I did my first official distance run in training for Marathon Week 2020. To keep a qualifying pace, by necessity I must have a pace under 16’00″/mile. To have some buffer, by recommendation I should have a pace under 15’00″/mile. If I’m going to do this, I’m going to do it with reasonable comfort. So I’m doing a walk/run/walk/run at whatever intervals feel comfortable, trying not to push myself a lot or look at my stopwatch regularly.

For my run this weekend, I did just 2.50 miles. I finished with a time of 0:29:13 – an average pace of 11’41″/mile!!! :surprised: :)

I couldn’t be more excited about my comfortable pace on this run!!! I’ll be trying to do maintenance paced workouts twice a week for 30 minutes each. These will be where I try to push myself on the running portions and build my endurance. I’ll try to continue my once per week distance runs, covering progressively longer distances with time.

My next distance run, I plan to do 3.00 miles.
