    @missingWDW Way to get out there! That is a fantastic distance and pace too!!! We are insanely hot here right now. I’m hoping to get out for a run this weekend. We should drop down to the 90’s for our highs, instead of 100’s. Our overnight lows have been in the high 70’s to low 80’s.

    I got up super early today to be running by 6:30am. It was 71* and 52% humidity, light cloud cover but no breeze. I tried to just keep my pace slow and steady. It felt better than my run last weekend.

    Finally felt good enough for a run this morning. Started taking Zyrtec and that has helped immensely. Temps were about 78 and 80% humidity. The deer flies were horrible. I got started later than I wanted. Will try harder next time.

    @nascfan Thank you!!! I felt so much better during my run than I did last week!! Maybe my body does remember how to do this whole running thing! ;) LOL

    @10dedfish
    Thank you! Unfortunately a brush fire started on our mountains here and is at 4500 acres already. So it depends on the winds on our air quality. We just can win this year! Great job on your run! Still rocking an awesome pace too!

    @nascfan Thank you!! During my run last weekend it seemed like my body completely forgot how to run! Yesterday my body was like “hey, I remember this!” LOL

    Holy hotness. Flagged the run this morning. My little ones had to serve early 7:30 mass, and my daughter woke up with a bad allergic reaction under her eyes from the dogs we are sitting. It’s so hot here anyway. It didn’t take much for me to say, I’ll try again tomorrow!
    LOL
    My plan is to get up early to beat the sun because we are in a heat wave here. Hopefully I stick to it
    :)

    Went at it hard this morning. Temps were about 77 and humidity was bout 85% or so. There was a good layer of fog on the ground. Run time: 3.04 miles in 28:06. Followed that up with a quarter miles walk for cool down. Went to the gym and worked shoulders for a solid 45 minutes, then off to the rowing machine where I did 1600 meters in 6:43, then another quick walk to cool down before heading home. 830 calories burned, total weight lifted: 9, 990 pounds.

    Planned on getting out by 5:30 this morning, but again I was sidetracked and got out at 6:10. The sun was already too high for my liking.
    LOL
    Added distance on today, and my plan is to stay here for the next two weeks. Hopefully after that I can hit 5 miles. I’m definitely ready to do 5 now, but I’m not pushing my luck with anything! I really need to get out on time next run. I was dizzy and nauseous after this one. Already the heat was getting to me, so I skipped on the sprints. Hoping for better next run.

    It’s brutal out there lately @missingwdw. You did great though! Good job getting out and making it through in the heat! Please be careful and stay hydrated.
