October 22, 2017 at 9:35 am #53248So it’s been a while! But Christy and I completed our first 5K together last Friday! Would’ve posted sooner but it was an evening run and the very next day at O’dark:30 I flew to Tampa to visit friends and got back yesterday afternoon. Our results are attached! I ran for the first full 8:30 which is new for me to go so far without walking AND I accomplished my goal of not finishing last

October 22, 2017 at 9:46 am #53251@10dedfish Great miles and pace!
October 22, 2017 at 9:48 am #53252@missingWDW Great job on still getting your runs in! You still maintained a great pace! There’s nothing wrong with walking!
October 22, 2017 at 9:49 am #53253@missingWDW Thank you so much! My sister is still really sore, but she’s seeing small improvements every day! Her accident was two weeks ago tomorrow. She’s hoping to get out for short runs in the next week. I just want her to feel better! My heart hurts for her!
October 22, 2017 at 3:17 pm #53266@missingwdw your “bad day” is a million times better than our best! You are incredible! There is absolutely nothing wrong with walking. Awesome job today!

October 25, 2017 at 10:37 am #53573I’m going through a lack of motivation week right now. Usually October is my best and favorite running month! But we just feel so tired and worn down. I’m not sure if the shorter days snuck up on us or what?! But I’ve been slacking. I did get 50 push ups in this morning! I will try to get more in later! Going to walk Winnie our normal 1.25 miles in just a bit.
October 25, 2017 at 10:42 am #53575@chill7984 How is your training going?
October 25, 2017 at 11:55 am #53592So after a little over a week off for a trip to Tampa and the business of life following that, I got back on track…literally, back on my running track for a paced walk/run yesterday evening:
Distance: 2.43 miles
Time: 0:30:00
Avg Time/Mile: 012:21The plan is to continue my paced walk/runs twice a week and do a distance run of either 1 mile or 3 miles once a week and try to pick up my pace and endurance over the Fall and Winter seasons.
October 25, 2017 at 11:58 am #53593@rocketEAR99 Way to get back at it! Great pace too! I think your plan sounds great!
