D-COT Member going to Air Force basic training

I just sent my first email to her this morning! I hope she gets piles of letters from all her D-Cot pals!

How does it work?

Send emails any time, from anywhere. Simply email chloe.kirk@write2them.org from your computer or smartphone, and Project Write2Them takes care of the rest. Letters get mailed daily via the U.S. Postal Service, and you get notification when your email is included in a letter to Chloe.
Send emails as often as you like. Project Write2Them provides this service to help improve the morale of new military members by making sure their name gets called during “mail call”. The more frequently you send emails to Chloe, the more letters we mail out and the busier “mail call” gets.
Share pictures by attaching image files (.gif, .jpg, .png) to your emails that fit within the 5MB size limit per message. Please make sure that all pictures are in good taste so that Chloe stays out of trouble.
Personalize your messages with a profile picture of yourself. Just email the photo you would like to use to mypic@write2them.org, and we will print it in each letter next to the emails you send. You can change the photo as often as you like.

If you are comfortable with it, maybe you can arrange to email someone else in this group who is able to send to her and they could copy it into an email and send on your behalf for you. I am happy to do this for you when I return from my trip. But if you want to send something sooner, you might ask someone else.

I sent my first email yesterday and this morning got an email that they’re sending out my mail to her today! How exciting!

I’ll echo what @laprana said! I’m more than happy to pass on messages from anyone who wasn’t able to get registered before she left.

I wrote her an email this morning!

Starbee and I are not PALS – is there a way for me to get involved? Would love to support her!
