@nascfan yep! It was the night of the half that I sent you and Kathy home!
@starbee @RocketEar99 Yep, the wake ups are really the hardest part! We tried to be back to our room and at least getting ready for bed by 8pm at the latest! Set an alarm and a backup alarm! We woke at 3am for the 5 & 10k’s and 2:30am for the half and full. Now they bumped up the full to 5am, so likely a 2am alarm. Each morning took me longer to get up and moving and dressed than the day before!
Pin your appropriate bib on your shirt the night before the race! You don’t want to attempt it in the early hours! Seriously, the marathon was easy in comparison to the wake ups!From a certain point of view…….Obi Wan!
@nascfan So I literally just watched Return of the Jedi (the specific movie where he says that) Of all the Star Wars characters, I think I identify most with him, but I’m more of a green saber guy. I will have to get up earlier than 2:30 or 2:00 because Christy is lately in a habit of not getting up until I wake her up…even though she sets a half dozen alarms on her phone

also, I didn’t know you could find out your corral ahead of time, I thought you’d find out at bib pick up so yay!It says you need one for each race so do I print 4 copies of this? Where will we find the corrals once they release them? Right! “Estimated pace” based on no information
