@starbee our Dollar Tree, Dollar Stores, have tons of gloves right now. Definitely try those in your area.

And for all of you, for your spectators that will be along, many people will bring a piece of cardboard to stand on or sit on while waiting for their runners along the route. We used some towels from the room and sat on those in MK and AK while waiting for our runners. That concrete ground is hard and very cold in January! Their knees and butts will thank you for that suggestion, trust me. It’s a very long wait after you stake out your spot.

And @starbee if you don’t have any luck, let me know. I will happily pick you up a few pairs of gloves and send them to you.

Wow. So I told a co-worker I might be dead by the time it’s over. Not from the running, but from the 1:30-2:30 AM wake-ups 4 days in a row He said, “It’s just like flying to Europe” And I said, “Yeah except once you’re forced awake, you have to run there instead of fly!”

That really is the tough part, those middle of the night wake ups. Your body just can’t get used to them. What night was it @eeyorepoohfan, I think the night of the Half?, that you sent me home? Yeah, I think that was it. I was just…..DONE! I think I had a Dole Whip and went to bed. Oh yeah, and that was the evening that my daughter and son-in-law had a date night so she kept texting me pics of how cute they looked!
