@disneyfan1966 That Citrus Thistle sounds delicious!
July 31, 2017 at 2:52 pm #42073@jamiedawn27 I’m glad you mentioned the concerts, I was going to ask how hard it was to get seats! The bands who will be there while we are at WDW are:
NEW! The Hooters – September 2-3
NEW! Baha Men — September 4-5
Fuel — September 6-7
Starship featuring Mickey Thomas – September 8-10We plan on being in Epcot on the 4th, 7th, and 8th… so we have the potential to see the Baha Men, Fuel, and Starship!
July 31, 2017 at 2:53 pm #42074@monkcline These sound SO SO SO delicious, and they sound Gluten Free too?!?!
“Le Cellier” wild mushroom beef filet mignon with truffle butter sauce from Canada
Spicy Tuna Poke with Seaweed Salad and Nori Rice from HawaiiJuly 31, 2017 at 2:54 pm #42075@Nascfan I wish we were going at the same time as you and your family! We could totally eat around the world together!
July 31, 2017 at 3:30 pm #42094@nascfan no CHASE lounge? the horror!!! last year i think the mac and cheese was between future world and canada. can’t be more specific than that…sorry.
July 31, 2017 at 3:31 pm #42095@Acamm Starship was excellent when we saw them last year. didn’t see the others…saw Air Supply and they were awful
July 31, 2017 at 3:33 pm #42096@Jamiedawn27 Oh thats good to know that Starship was good. Thats awful that Air Supply wasn’t though… ugh. The Baha Men are the ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ people, and I’m kind of wanting to see them just to hear that song and check it off my bucket list of life

@jamiedawn27, that is plenty of info and exactly what I was looking for. Got it, thanks! For your troublesJuly 31, 2017 at 6:22 pm #42106I have it under good authority that the Chase lounge is not happening this year.
Ugh! Why?! Not that I was ever able to get in there so maybe it’s no big
July 31, 2017 at 6:29 pm #42108We’ve done Food & Wine several times and I can’t get enough! Everything about it is so much fun! Everyone has given great advice so far! I agree that if possible avoid the weekend because it’s hell on Earth. One year we had no choice but to go on a Saturday and I waited 45 minutes for a margarita in Mexico having said that, I can’t think of anything I’ve eaten at F&W that was bad! I also agree with what everyone said about skipping any restaurants, both table service and QS. Make the most of F&W instead.
Many items return year after year, but some seem to be modified or shelved I would guess based on popularity (or lack thereof) and to make way for new offerings. One of my absolute favorites doesn’t look like its returning :'( it was the lobster fisherman’s pie at the Ireland booth. Lobster is not something I can get easily in my landlocked state and when we can it’s expensive and previously frozen so it’s not even worth it.
The choices can be overwhelming, I plan to review the menus and pick some of my must-haves and take it from there. I’m so excited to go back to F&W this year!

Word on the street is that Chase is not sponsoring as in years past. Kind of weird since they are the ones with the Disney Visa.
July 31, 2017 at 7:06 pm #42113@starbee Thank you for the awesome advice  I agree with you and I think I’m also going to review the menus first… but I need to find one that is a comprehensive Allergy Friendly menu so that I can be sure to not get cross contaminated with gluten
July 31, 2017 at 7:07 pm #42114@Nascfan that stinks because they remove it before I even got to experience it! :'(
