Unable to post in thread

I’ve been unable to post in the “Where in the World” thread in the Games/Trivia forum since yesterday. I’m able to post in other threads without a problem, and was able to post in the “Where in the World” thread a couple days ago, but now when I try to post, it just doesn’t show up after I hit “submit.” I’ve tried using IOS on an iPad and Google Chrome on a desktop. I’ve also logged out and logged back in, but am still unable to post. Any suggestions? Thank you!

That thread causes issues, there’s something built into the forums where it won’t allow for duplicate posts. In that thread (and other similar threads) where we ask a lot of the same questions “can we buy it?” or “are we going to a park?” then it might not post unless you make the post unique. Add a couple of emojis after the text, that’s usually what I do

Yeah those games do cause problems sometimes. I’m not sure if you’re inadvertently posting a duplicate, even from a while ago, but that has caused problems in the past.

I have been summoned by @Nascfan. The forums have a spam filter in place where if the same wording is used again (duplicated) in the same thread it will prevent you from posting. I looked into a way to circumvent this, but came up with nothing. I’ll have to look again. I think Lord Vader has something to do with it.

Oh, that makes sense! I’ll try wording it differently and adding a couple emojis and see if that works. Maybe if I add Lord Vader’s emoji he’ll allow it to post! Thanks everyone!
