I’m sad they changed it. I guess I have to get used to the new one

Makes me sad, and angry. Too much catering to the whiners and complainers, too much sterilization of the ‘old Disney’. I get new and changing, but there has to be something left behind for tradition. The whole premise of Disney was a place for children, parents, and families to share. Part of that is sharing memories. If there is nothing left to show, then it is just stories to share. And as each generation dies, the stories die with the storytellers, and nothing is left behind. I would love for my great grandchildren to at least have something of my childhood (even my parent’s childhood) to see and experience. A place, an experience to go along with the photos and stories. Having part of the past preserved gives appreciation for the now, and hope for the future. To see how we were, what we’ve become, and value the power of change for hope of what we can be.
