    In fairness, I think it really came into play around 2010… I remember my ’05, ’07, ’08 trips still packing some serious value and reasonable pricing.

    True. They couldn’t afford to cut back anything except the price tag back then (hello recession). Man, the parks were so empty in the off-season back then.

    I chose the preferred parking on my recent trip. I was going to Valet and pay $20, but I saw the sign for $10 preferred parking. Since I only go there for the Marketplace, not for the new Disney Springs/Old West-Side stuff, it was nice to self park on the ground level close to Once Upon a Toy and just walk across the street like it used to be before the whole garage thing went up. I am a sucker, but I think it was great since it saved time finding a spot in the garage and navigating over to the Marketplace.
