Thought this was rather interesting. Is this something that’s good? Or just meh? DTD here has it’s own parking lot but it’s EXPENSIVE if you’re parked there longer than 2 hours (or don’t get validated)

It seems the Grapefruit lot will take up part of the Watermelon lot and Lemon will take up the old bus loop. I don’t care for the Grapefruit lot, but as for the lemon lot, I would much rather prefer they build another garage! I get tired of having to park at the Lime Garage just to visit Goofy Candy Co :goofy: , Design a Tee, Once Upon a Toy, Rainforest Cafe, etc.

Not worth it. When visiting WDW, one does walk many miles so what’s another 100 yards…. Disney is really reaching for the stars on trying to bleed people dry of their cash. They offer preferred at all their theme parks at an additional $20, so that’s $40 just to park your ride up close.
I would rather spend my “smilies” on something else….. just my opinion. :ears:

Pass. We take the bus anyways so it doesn’t affect us, but if we drove we’d just use the garages. They don’t need more of my money for parking.

Agreed…not worth it. I’ll be busing or boating 90% of the time. IF we drive down to Disney, we only drive around property when it’s convenient (like usually our arrival day and our departure day).

At Universal Studios out here, they have regular parking which is like $16 and then preferred which is I have no idea now. $20? $25? We’ve used it once and that was on a super busy day. Otherwise, I have no problem walking through City Walk (which is like Disney Springs w/ restaurants and shops and a movie theater) to get to the front gate.

Nope. Parking for City Walk is the same parking for Universal Studios so you’re paying for park parking.

I just went to their website and found a breakdown:
    Parking
    Before 6pm After 6pm
    Front Gate Parking $40 $30
    Closest to Theme Park

    Preferred Parking $30 $20
Reduce a few minutes off your walk, whether you’re headed to the Theme Park or CityWalk

    General Parking $20 $10

Valet Parking $15 first 2.5 hours
    $35 over 2.5 hours

It’s pretty crazy. Disneyland parking is 18 a day? I think. I have a pass so I don’t have to pay for it anymore or we’re staying down there but yeah. Parking is like 2 meals!

Cast Members at WDW get free parking and admission  (but Disney Springs parking is already free)
