Do they have to trade with you even though they might not want your PIN?

Yes, the only time they won’t trade with you is if you’re wanting to trade for something that’s already on their lanyard. But they may check first that your pin is an official Disney trading pin (there are many fakes out there it seems).

Down in the utilidors of the Magic Kingdom. They have a huge room where CM’s get their pins for trading. We saw it on the Keys to the Kingdom tour. It’s really cool!

I have two books full of Disney pins. I am a huge pin collector. I love them. I have to limit myself to only a couple each trip now. I could spend my whole paycheck on them if I don’t limit myself.

we did this too and the kids loved it, they had fun asking the cast members about trading and at the hotel too when they had the pins for trade at night.

I collect pins for all the rides, shows, etc we do – it is cool to look back and see what we have done in the past. I don’t buy pins every time we ride, just the first time. There are pins for pretty much everything but a lot of them you can only find in the gift shop associated with that ride or event. (Hoop-dee-doo, etc) It is a lot of fun!

I have a bunch of older ones, but haven’t purchased any recently. I wonder if they still have pin trading like it used to be???

PS….I like to buy pins from each resort where we have stayed.
