Is it just me, or have we exhausted Peter Pan at this point? :(

Nope. Not just you at all. In fact, there is really nothing on the Disney slate of movies that I am the least bit excited about. I am hopeful, however, that Indy 5 will be a nice closing chapter to that series. And even though it is technically “Disney,” I don’t really consider it a Disney movie. Our whole family just watched Wreck It Ralph over Easter weekend and we were reminded of how good Disney could be. It is just a fun, funny, creative, and entertaining movie.

Preach! I don’t know where all the creativity has gone? It seems like 90% of what Disney puts out right now is a rehash of something already done. Then you have 8% Star Wars spin offs and 2% of new content. I’m bored and unimpressed

Extremely bored and unimpressed! Pretty much nailed it you two! And personally for me, the 2% is nothing I have any desire to see. Remember when Zootopia was being teased out with trailers? My first thoughts were, “Oh, that looks interesting! I’m kind of intrigued and excited about this!” Now when I see a trailer I’m thinking, “meh. Pass. Maybe someday on Disney+ if we ever get around to it.”

I feel that. Coupled with I think the original titles get swallowed in promo for the remakes. I still haven’t seen Luca, Encanto, Raya, and there’s probably others I’m forgetting

@starbee I haven’t seen those movies either. And the live action remakes are just unnecessary. I have no desire to see most of what Disney has produced in the last several years, including the Star Wars and Marvel series/movies. Spider Man: No Way Home was the last Disney/Marvel movie I saw and truly enjoyed. I watched the first two seasons of The Mandalorian and thought those were pretty good. I’m having a hard time getting into season 3. I was pretty disappointed in Obi Wan and Boba Fett. Two legacy characters who were given lackluster storylines. Could not have cared less about She-Hulk or Ms. Marvel. I know Andor is one of the better reviewed series, but I really struggled with that one also. It was just boring to me. I realize there are many who enjoy the movies and series produced over the last 5 years or so, but something has changed either with Disney or with me (maybe both), and my love for Disney has grown distant. Pains me to say it. :(
