Our Thursday began with a traditional cereal and banana breakfast…but with French Press coffee! Yup. I brought my French Press and Joffrey’s coffee with me! After breakfast, we caught the boat to Magic Kingdom to see Frontierland sans Splash Mountain Liberty Square, and Adventureland.
We began with our FP+ for Big Thunder Mountain. A great way to start the day! Then we had some time to kill so we decided to take a round trip on the WDW Railroad! I’m glad we had time to kill because it took us 45 minutes to make the circuit. For some reason we sat at Frontierland Station a good 15 minutes waiting for the track to clear. But once we got going, it was a delightful trip we all enjoy.
When we got back to Frontierland, we moseyed into Adventureland. We saw the Enchanted Tiki Room and then used a FP+ for the Jungle Cruise! Good thing we had a FP, or the wait would’ve been 75 minutes! Our skipper was one of their better ones in my opinion. He had his own twist on some familiar jokes like “How can you tell it’s an African Elephant?” Someone responded the ears and he said, “That’s very good, but actually the response I was looking for was that the African elephants are made with fiberglass while the Indian ones are more latex.”
Of course afterward we HAD to stop for a Christy got the Pineapple Float while I tried the Pineapple Upside Down Cake which was surprisingly good
Afterward we trotted over to Liberty Square to see the Hall of Presidents. It was a very full show. The new format is neat! Sad that they have to post security guards in there now though
Afterward we boated back to Wilderness Lodge. My parents rested at the villa while Christy and I went to Blizzard Beach for the first time! More on that in my next post.
