We began our morning by checking out of Jambo House :(
Then we went to Kona Cafe for breakfast at 9:00am
We drove to Epcot and arrived around 10:30am. As we entered Epcot I got to see the Sherry, the cast member who I get some inside info from :) Being on the job though I didn’t get any new info from her that day.
We considered using our FP+ for Spaceship Earth :se: but that line was moving almost as slow as the standby line. We waited in it for 10 minutes and then decided our time was better spent elsewhere…tiered FP system strikes again!
    eyeroll
So we went back to Mouse Gears for a bit and then used our FP+ for Test Track. :wom: That wait was not so bad with the FP+ (80 minutes posted without it). Another fantastic ride. Our car design crushed the opposition in power and handling…Efficiency score: 4 LOL
From there we toured the World Showcase :ws: , seeing Reflections of China, The American Adventure, and O Canada and doing some shopping in between. In Japan we got some shaved ice with sweet condensed milk drizzled on the top. Not a bad buy in the Florida heat for $5!
Around 3:30pm we bid a fond farewell to Epcot and Walt Disney World until next year :(

    Final Thoughts:
Kidani > Jambo due to better room layout for DVC villas, better parking, and being first for bus stops going to/from the parks. The plus side to Jambo is you can book a Standard View room on points and possibly still get a Savanna view like we did  (or at least a pool view). At Kidani, a standard view may still be of a parking lot. As it was, we saw zebra, wildebeest, impala, and ostrich every morning!

We got our first timer to experience many signature Disney snacks like :mbar: :dole: and Zebra domes!

Lastly we only missed the following attractions which we attempted to see, but just didn’t have the time:
    Flight of Passage
    Maharajah Jungle Trek
    Indiana Jones Stunt Show
    Enchanted Tales w/ Belle
    Mickey’s PhilharMagic
    Mission: SPACE :horizons:

Not bad only missing 6 attractions across 4 parks in 6 days in the middle of summer!

Good job on hitting most of what you wanted! Glad you had a good trip and I hope the first timer has been bitten by the magic and pixie dust!

It’s a good thing you got in the World Showcase films. You never know when Reflections of China will be closing.

Like I’ve said before, the tiered FP+ system creates tears. :'(

A car with Efficiency of 4…. you love the environment, don’t you? LOL

Glad you had a wonderful time! Now you have to plan another eventually! :smirk:

@Nascfan Our first timer had a great time and wants to come back with us sometime in the future!

    @SEJ101
I usually try for lowest efficiency possible ;) Although next time I may try to make the most efficient (read: slowest) car possible and call it the “Green Bean”…kind of like Psych’s “Blueberry” but less cool ;)

Awesome last day at Epcot! The World Showcase films really are awesome aren’t they? Which is your favorite?

That’s definitely impressive only missing a couple of rides in 6 days. We usually pick one or two must see attractions each visit and then go wherever the wind takes us from there. My husband and I love the France movie and I appreciate that they changed the set up to run at the :15 and :45 of each open hour. It’s a congested area to begin with without having to walk all the way to the entrance to find out you just missed the 18 minute show. :p

Martin Short: NO! Celine Dion is not here! LOL LOL LOL

The Green bean… sounds interesting for a future car name. More interesting than a few of mine (which include Dolphin and Squid-Zee)

@acamm O Canada is my favorite!

    O Canada Never gets old!

Ugh, FP+ and the tiers

Sounds like you had a great trip – and so did your first timer! Now I want some Tonga Toast…

    I love O Canada too!
