@starbee that’s a good one. Something everyday. I like it.
I was thinking last night, after another day full of cookies and chocolate and ice cream indulgence, that I would have a daily sugar intake goal. Now I’m torn between @starbee’s idea and the sugar thing. With less than 24 hours to decide, I guess I better just pick one!Or do both. Your call.
December 31, 2018 at 3:50 pm #98593My goal is to MOVE FOR 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY.… by MOVE I mean:
30 min walking
30 min run
30 min in the gym (yup…. I joined a new gym in November!!)
30 min tabata workoutBut doing something every single day 7 days a week! Readyyyyyyy …. settttt………. here we gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
December 31, 2018 at 4:16 pm #98596Hmmmmm
Both, eh?
I could…….
Alrighty then. Both it is.
In the words of Pan….and @acamm……
HERE WE GOOOOOOOO!!!!
December 31, 2018 at 5:12 pm #98610@missingWDW Thanks! I went with that because I think if I make it too specific and then life happens, I’m going to get super frustrated if I didn’t meet my goal because something was out of my control. For example if I can’t run because it’s slick outside but my goal was to run. If I make it flexible I can adapt and still meet my goal. In honor of you doing both, I’m going to add another challenge too! I’m going to track everything I eat/drink in my Fitbit app again. I need to take ownership of my terrible eating habits
December 31, 2018 at 8:12 pm #98627That’s pretty much my plan as well, @starbee. Tracking my daily food log only I use MyFitnessPal to do it. I’m just going to watch my sugar total on there and try to control myself when I start getting too high. Its too hard to do the whole “added sugar” calculation, so I’m just going to keep an eye on total sugar. It’ll do.
Here’s to a great January challenge everyone! Good luck!!!January 1, 2019 at 8:12 am #98629@starbee @missingwdw I’m using mfp as well to track in take. I used to used it all the time, need to get back at it. @acamm great job on joining a gym!

January 1, 2019 at 9:44 am #98631@Acamm Great job on joining a gym! What’s it like? How’s it going? I checked a new gym out yesterday. I have had terrible experiences with gyms in the past, but this one seems really good! I plan on joining once I’m home full time at the end of the month
January 1, 2019 at 9:46 am #98632Happy January everyone! The challenge begins today – good luck!
January 1, 2019 at 3:15 pm #98642@starbee & @10dedfish My new job is the first job I’ve had in years that didn’t have a fitness facility located INSIDE of my building, so I joined a small gym about 1/2 mile from my current office. It’s a small neighborhood gym that is empty at lunchtime, when I workout. They are packed after work hours between 5:30 – 7:00pm…. so I won’t make that mistake again LOL. The gym has 4 bikes, 4 treadmills, 4 elipticals, 1 tread climber, all of the circuit machines, and 1/2 of it is filled with free weights, kettlebells, and boxes for crossfit type workouts. Its perfect for my lunchtime workouts…. and closeby enough so that I have no excuses.
Today I’ve been tracking my calorie intake on MFP, and went on a morning hike with @cammelot for 35 min. Our normal trail was a mud pit, so that was an adventure in itself We came home and did burpees, russian twists, and tricep dips. Happy New Year!!
January 1, 2019 at 3:56 pm #98647I’m in it to win it. And to be healthy.
