Thats how my family was growing up. We all had either the same exact shirt, or something very close.
My kids will indulge me and at least wear a Disney themed shirt, but never match me (They’re 14 and 16 girls, so I’m sure you understand why)
March 13, 2017 at 12:21 pm #17119Name: Melissa
Originally From: Lincoln, NE

Favorite Park: Magic Kingdom
Favorite Ride: Thunder Mountain (this was SO hard to pick…can you have just one favorite?!)
How many Disney vacations: I have been there too many times to count, although now I wish I had, because I am dying to know!
Best Disney Memory: Running the 1/2 Marathon at Disney with my sister!!My mom was from West Palm Beach and her family still lives there. So every Summer, my parents would send my sister and I to stay with them, and every year they would take us to Disney!! It is my “happy” place! I have a 12yr old son and an 18yr old daughter. So since it is harder to take them out of school, my sister and I try to go every year!! My husband is a Disney hater :p so he doesn’t get to go!!
March 13, 2017 at 12:25 pm #17120Welcome Melissa! It’s great to have you here!
Shame on your husband being on the dark side!March 13, 2017 at 12:29 pm #17121Welcome Melissa!
I’m so jealous of your summer Disney visits!
That’s awesome that your sister will go with you since your husband is a party pooper.March 13, 2017 at 12:33 pm #17122Name: Melissa

I totally get it! Teen Boys only care about what they wear to a point!! Teen Girls, I’m sure are much harder to choose their outfits!!
March 13, 2017 at 12:35 pm #17124Welcome Melissa! You’ll love it here. Don’t worry my husband is a little bit of a Disney hater too. They just don’t know a good thing when they see one. I’m so glad you have your sister to go with to the most magical place ever.
March 13, 2017 at 12:38 pm #17126And I’m over here trying to convince my wife to take an extra trip on our AP’s.
Fortunately she’s pretty easy to talk into it!March 13, 2017 at 12:42 pm #17128@monkcline welcome! i just moved to the quad cities from Grimes about 8 months ago. We loved the Des Moines area and miss it.
@nascfan APs? you get them again?March 13, 2017 at 12:46 pm #17129@monkcline Welcome! My condolences for your husband’s loss
@Nascfan You and I are of a rare breed my friend. Men who have to talk their wives into Disney! Not many of us out there. Usually it’s the other way around. Well – to clarify, I don’t have to talk my wife into Disney regularly, but I had to initially. When I told her I had DVC she initially asked if I could sell it back if I wanted to! Then she took a trip with me and hasn’t brought it up since but wonders when we get to go againMarch 13, 2017 at 12:47 pm #17131@jamiedawn27 Aye. Our daughter and myself are getting them for our daddy/daughter trip in October and the family trip in December. Then since we are going in January to support eeyorepoohfan in her Dopey challenge it was cost beneficial to get one for my wife too. So of course, knowing me like you do, I mentioned taking an anniversary trip in May 2018 to my wife. It’ll be 30 years so we kind of have to, right? Didn’t even have to ask, she said, “ok”. Done! Signed, sealed, delivered, that’s all I need! :mickey:
