You sure it wasn’t “AH-JUNE-ZING”? ;) Sorry I couldn’t resist! I’ve been reading nothing but good things about the breakfast!

It was totally AH-JUNE-ZING. I would venture a guess that the breakfast is AH-ANYMONTHYOUWANTYOUSMARTYPANTS-ZING!

okay my only beef with it was that we were in SUCH a hurry to get our butts on Soarin’ first that we didn’t just sit back and relax and really enjoy the breakfast. next time i will get an earlier time (like 8 on the dot) or just plan it for a “i don’t have anywhere else to be” type of meal. The POG (?) juice was amazing.

I went back in May for the first time. The changes to the menu actually tasted pretty scrumptious, but I could only stand one helping of it.

That’s cool, AP Holders get 20% off until the end of September, there and 39 other locations I think.

I’ll be going in November for lunch. It’s usually a must do for my family but I have noticed that it doesn’t leave quite the impression these days that it used to when they served skirt steak, turkey and catfish! That was the best and you couldn’t stop eating! I don’t even recall what we had there a couple of years ago because it was nowhere near as memorable. Here’s hoping!

@disneydana We just did our lunch there and it is quite different, but still good. Our first timer that came with us said it was her favorite meal of all 6 we did together :surprised: So for her it outranked (if even slightly) Sanaa for Lunch, Kona Cafe for Breakfast, Boma for Breakfast, Be Our Guest for lunch, and the Brown Derby for lunch!

    My take is this:
I do miss the beef/prime rib the way they used to do it (now it’s pot roast which is OK).
I also miss the fish (now it’s Sausage with peppers and onions which is pretty good, but it’s not fish).
The salad and bread were still there and they were out of this world good!
The turkey and stuffing was also still there and better than I remember it being.
There was also a cooked vegetable medley with squash, zucchini, and green beans which all tasted good and fresh.
The mashed potatoes – no complaints.
New to the spread is Macaroni and Cheese which was up to Disney’s finest standards!
And also new was a heap of French Fries which were fine, but with everything else on the table, went mostly ignored. We didn’t need them.
The dessert – strawberry shortcake with vanilla bean whipped cream was light and sweet for a good finish.

So I still recommend the Garden Grill even with the unwelcome changes

@RocketEAR99 You’re putting my mind at ease a bit! I just don’t understand why these high dollar restaurants feel the need to use cheaper ingredients….well that’s not true, I do know. Disney is not what it used to be and with all of the sheep out there not making their voices heard with their wallets, Disney will continue to change things to the lesser quality items because they are going to get top dollar for anything they do. I suppose there are still tons of people out there that have never even been to these restaurants and don’t remember the good old days so they have nothing to compare it to. I loved when they had the fish because the main point for me of eating there is to sample what they are growing and farming in the Land ride below. That was the coolest thing on earth to me.

Have never done breakfast but have had lunch there. Great place and character interactions. One thing everyone should take time to do is make sure they get up and look at LWTL while there.
