As much as I love Epcot, I feel like exploring the Magic Kingdom or MGM (Hollywood Studios) would be the most exciting and thrilling. Walking through Frontier Land at night would be amazing and super thrilling, and walking through the queue of Tower of Terror with the music on would be like being sucked back into time when flapper outfits were all the fashion! What about you?
March 27, 2017 at 6:56 am #19532I would love to walk through Epcot alone… not at night though, because I’d be too scared!
March 27, 2017 at 7:40 am #19538Epcot, hands down! My husband and I got to do this (kind of) back in 2014 when they were offering that “After Hours Wind Down” event. When we left, the park was pretty much empty, so we took our time heading from Italy (where our event was), taking the longer route past America, France, the UK and Canada. We really explored the pavilions and it was so beautiful. Then walking through Future World, with the lighting on the sidewalks and enjoying how gorgeous Spaceship Earth is at night, that’s what I’d do again in a heartbeat
March 27, 2017 at 7:43 am #19543I love EPCOT at night. We are always walking out late tho so i would pick MK…that park would be neat to see empty and dark…
March 27, 2017 at 8:51 am #19596I was at EPCOT at 2am and it was amazing. We were the last ones to leave the park. Cast members were walking behind us to make sure we left and gave us a nice “good bye” as we exited. However, I would love to be at DHS right around ToT. Like you said, @JillianHaley, it would be awesome to hear the queue music and being sucked back in time. I’m an “old soul” so this would be something I would really enjoy. After that I could grab a bite to eat at the Brown Derby and hang out with the Rat Pack.
March 27, 2017 at 10:36 am #19629A few years ago we had a 9 PM res at Sci FI Diner and didn’t leave until about 10.
Not sure why they took a res right at closing but, why not have dessert?
The park was fairly dark and close to deserted, just a handful of cast members around who didn’t rush us along but sort of made sure we went towards the exit.
Still we have some nice pictures in which we appear to be in the park alone. Then there were no buses left so they called for one.
Again kind of fun to be the only ones on the bus going back after close.
The driver was nice enough to take a picture of that as well.

I got chills reading this! Future World at night, Spaceship Earth, the lights in the pavement
My pick would be Magic Kingdom, the castle lit up and walking down Main Street but I do love Future World around SSE, so it’s a toss up really!

RIDisneyPinGuy182 XPI’m in the Epcot crowd as well. So beautiful at night. I enjoy Tomorrowland at MK, but on the whole the Kingdom is a better day park IMO… I think the Studios would be pretty awesome after hours, and I wish they still had the ToT 10mi for that reason. From those who experienced it, they have spoken highly of having the park to themselves (well runners & families) in the wee-morning hours.

fjaebli14 XPOn our last trip to WDW, me and my 15 and 13 year old stayed back long after Illuminations and we strolled around the World Showcase. It was so peaceful. As we made our way towards Spaceship Earth we got a few great shots and in particular one exiting the park that I posted here. However, I was on a solo trip last fall and I was surprised. At each of the countries I encountered a security guard and they had to hand me and two others off to get us out front. That was the first time I saw the bridge up by Africa and China. It felt like we overstayed our welcome. But it is a great late night park. I think Animal Kingdom will be a surprise to many of us in the coming years as it turns into a night time park.

mazzolag14 XPNice photo @fjaebli. I really like the balanced composition with the Flag in the center.
April 15, 2017 at 12:35 pm #22566That is one beautiful shot.

fjaebli14 XPThank you
My son and I often look for unique shots as we stroll around. All on our phones. This one was on the way out. I laid on the ground which is why it may be a bit tipped. I am not a photographer by any means but our phones give us some great chances to capture moments that really are amazing.

Disneydana12 XPI was lucky enough to be one of the last stragglers coming out of Disneyland one night with my best friend. We stopped in front of the teacups with all of the beautiful lights to take a selfie and a CM walking by offered to take it for us. I thought for sure she was going to tell us we had to leave because we were literally the last people in the park but she made our night instead!
I’ve been at Epcot for extra hours at night before and we thought it was just odd. Nothing seemed to be open and we felt like we weren’t supposed to be there. There was hardly anyone around and it didn’t feel like extra magic hours at all. I don’t know what it was but we both kept saying, “this just feels odd…like they want us out.” Strange.
I think I’d like to be at AK at night. I’ve never been there past 4 or 5 in the evening but I think it will be a beautiful night time park.
April 26, 2017 at 7:54 am #24077One trip to Magic Kingdom, about 2014, Magic hours had five minutes left (keep in mind it’s almost 12:00 at night) and my family rushed to Space Mountain. The six of us got in line and the wait time said 10 minutes. We ended up waiting 4 hours and we were almost the last people out of the park!
