This may need to go in the Unpopular Opinions thread but I think Disney+ is a stupid name. I love that they’re coming out with a streaming service that isn’t extortionately priced and has so many cool things but the name is lame. I’d call it something like “Disney on Demand”. They’re not good at naming stuff like that, Freeform is a stupid name too

That looks interesting!!!!! I wonder if this is the reason why there haven’t been any specials on Disney on the Discovery Channel or the Travel channel…etc..??

Probably. There’s a book you can buy to go along with it that I’m interested in too:

It’s currently available for pre-order and will release the day the documentary starts streaming

@starbee, I couldn’t agree more!! It is a stupid name. Disney on Demand is much better and makes a lot more sense!!

I’m honestly excited to watch all of the movies I used to love when I was a kid that I havent seen in years. Bedknobs and Broomsticks anyone?

One more week! I’m with you starbee, I’m sure they could have come up with a better name. They could even have borrowed from D23 and called it D-TV, with the Disney D. Lots of better possibilities.

Looking forward to Disney+. Lots of great content but I hope they continue to create new park related content… I’m most eager for the One Day Doc, etc.

@GhibliFan 100% agree! honestly it would be a win win situation for them, because it would basically be free advertising for the parks
