I figured out what I’ll be watching first on the service, and that’s Forky Asks a Question.

Grumpytude499 XP@sej101 My guess would have been that you were going to have a Cars marathon with the toddler
October 30, 2019 at 1:51 pm #119855Oh phooey I thought it would go right through my TV, guess i will have to figure that one out. But I know we are looking for the Mandalorian! can’t wait! then we can work our way through everything else
October 30, 2019 at 2:09 pm #119869I’m very excited about the launch and am mostly looking forward to the Disney history documentaries – #1 on my list is Leslie Iwerks’ The Imagineering Story!
Now, that being said, I signed up under he D23 special 3 year subscription without knowing how I’m going to access Disney +.
I’m not very tech savvy, I don’t have any Apple products, Roku or anything else. I do have a smart TV, but it’s Samsung and found out that will not work.
I guess I’ll have to figure out how I’m going to access it very soon!!!October 30, 2019 at 2:19 pm #119871@mvh I’m the most technological idiot in the world but my daughter has assured me that I’ll be able to use the Roku stick just fine. I’ve never streamed anything in my life, but if I can do it, we both can!
October 30, 2019 at 2:44 pm #119873Thanks @Nascfan for the boost of confidence, I need it!!! Thought Roku would be the easiest & best way to go, but after doing a little research I’m finding out Roku only works on select Samsung TVs and I don’t know how to find out if it works on mine without buying it first. But maybe that’s what I’ll just have to do, cuz I want Disney + access as soon as it is available!! Will give an update asap
October 30, 2019 at 2:48 pm #119874@SEJ101 given your avi i thought you’d be watching the 2015 muppets tv show first
October 30, 2019 at 2:51 pm #119876@Julia That is definitely on my list! I only saw the first couple episodes but I did enjoy it. Thought I’d start with Forky since it’s all a bunch of shorts and it looks hilarious. Besides, I used to have a Forky avatar
October 30, 2019 at 2:59 pm #119879I read an article this morning about Disney+ details, and this is what it said about what devices it will be available on:
“At launch, the Disney+ app will be available on Apple TV, Android devices, Chromecast, iPads and iPhones, PS4, Roku, and Xbox One.
As of writing, there is no Nintendo Switch Disney Plus app to speak of, nor will it be available on Amazon’s Fire TV stick.”
I was bummed about the Amazon Fire TV stick because that’s what I have, so I went and ordered a Roku There’s no way I’m going to miss out on streaming as soon as I possibly can! If anyone is interested, Target has a sale on Rokus right now. I ordered a Roku Express for $25!
