We are going for several days (like ten) and I want things to do that don’t require park entrance. My kids did the pirate adventure cruise…I want more ideas like that! Share them if you got em!

Just off the top of my head: the Chip and Dale campfire sing along at Fort Wilderness, followed by a movie, completely free other than the cost for s’more fixings I believe, horseback riding at Fort Wilderness, canoe or kayak rentals at Fort Wilderness, tour the stables at Fort Wilderness, archery experience at Fort Wilderness (lots to do there), rent surrey bikes right at AoA for a nice ride around Hourglass Lake, all the mini golfs. That’s what I can come up with now, I’m sure there are more but I have to get to work. Will check in later as I come up with more ideas. You really could easily spend a week at WDW and never hit a park and not get bored!

On our last trip we hit Disney Springs while we waited for our room ready text, we browsed all the different shops (the Co-Op shop has some really cool items), but I think our favorite part was getting gelato at Vivoli il Gelato, they have some seating outside right across from the Amphicar launch. We had a great time eating our gelato and watching the Amphicars go into the water. I’ve only been for dessert (shocker!), but a lot of my friends love Splitsville. The atmosphere there is really fun, might be worth checking out!

As far as other things to do (@nascfan covered Fort Wilderness, those are all awesome suggestions!) I would check out the resort recreation schedule at Animal Kingdom Villas, they usually have unique cultural activities, and in the evening they have the night vision animal viewing, which is pretty cool.

I might take a night and hit the Poly, there’s usually hula dancing in the lobby in the early afternoon, Trader Sam’s opens at 4 pm. They have a torch lighting ceremony around sunset, followed by the movies under the stars. Then you can head down to the beach to watch the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes from the beach. We also like to rent a boat from the Poly marina

    Great suggestions Kelly!

Oh, Yeeha Bob! At POR if you’re so inclined for some evening entertainment! Of course there’s the whole Boardwalk for the evening also.

I assume you’re talking about WDW, but on the off chance you mean DL-there’s Knotts Berry Farm, which is like 5 min down the freeway, Medieval Times, Pirate Dinner Adventure…Universal isn’t too far, neither is Sea World…

There’s always AMC at Disney Springs (if anything you like is showing), and Splitsville for bowling.

Even if you’re not staying there you can go to Animal Kingdom lodge and watch the animals for a while.

The Disney mini-golf courses… I know in the past there were coupons passed out in the room check-in packet.
