    At sea day:

I awoke before our alarm, and immediately started to get ready for the day. DW was a little slower to rise. We were both up and ready by 8 and headed down for breakfast. After eating we had 9am tickets for the Princess Gathering. The princesses made their way to their places in the atrium. To my disappointment, Ariel was not there :'( . DW enjoyed giving me a ribbing about it. We met with each princess (Cinderella, Belle, Rapunzel, and Tiana, and were done rather quickly. We then headed up to the D-Lounge for a presentation of Anyone Can Cook. The Dream’s executive pastry chef demonstrated how to make Apple Strudel, and the audience enjoyed samples. An enjoyable presentation, I was looking forward to the Lobster Ravioli one later in the day.
After ACC, we headed to the balcony to watch the Jack Jack Diaper Dash taking place down in the atrium. It was very cute watching the babies. Our pick to win actually came up crying, so luckily there was no wagering on the races ;)
Just like that, lunch was upon us. We stopped in Vanelope’s Sweets for a peek around before grabbing some wraps at the counter and heading into the buffet. Following lunch we made our way to the stateroom to enjoy some verandah time before our mixiology class.
We were late for our class due to accidentally heading to the public class scheduled at the same exact time. Once at Skyline Lounge, the ‘class’ began with our bartenders passing out Bahama Mamas to all of us. The class was more about drinking than making, and I still do not know the mixture ratios on any of our drinks. we were seated in groups of 5-6, and the three other people we were with made for great company. One bartender ‘coached’ the group to finish their drinks, while the other two taught how to make Mango Mojitos. Anyone who left room in their glasses caught a good ribbing and were instructed to fill to the top. I noticed that the ladies’ glasses mysteriously contained less mixer than the mens’. :p While enjoying our mojitos, we were distributed Pomegranate Metropolitans (Cosmopolitans ). We had to finish both before going up to make our Mai Tais. To wrap up the class, we were made a shot. I do not know the name, but I have a photo of the ingredients. Our class finished five minutes early, which is apparently as unacceptable as a glass not filled to the top, so our bartenders ‘bought’ the class a ‘shot’ of Fireball. This was a strong ‘double’ pour any day…
The six drinks took a toll on DW and she asked to head up to the stateroom. By the time we made our way up, the tropical concoctions had taken full-effect, and DW wanted to rest it off. Afternoon plans to learn to make lobster ravioli, and heading to Rainforest were scrapped. I headed to the pool deck to acquire some water for the Mrs. and another Mango Mojito for me. I returned to DW sleeping, so I quietly made my way to the verandah. Apparently I was not quiet enough, and DW came out to the verandah, requesting bread. Back upstairs to grab bread… I dropped off the plate and decided to to head back to the deck. I was joined by one of our group members from mixology at the pool bar, where we discussed Disney trips, DCL, and rD events. After about 45 minutes we decided to head back to wives. I grabbed a few slices of pizza on the way ;)
Again I quietly made my way in the stateroom, and out to the verandah… and again DW woke up. She joined me outside, and was in comically rough shape :p We sat outside for a while, and watched the ship skate the edge of a storm. It was really beautiful.
DW somewhat recovered, we freshened up and headed to the theater for Disney’s Believe. The show was cute (though not as good as Villains Tonight).
Our final dinner was at Enchanted Garden. Though my least favorite appearance/theming-wise, the food was quite good. I started with the lobster ravioli, DW had the bacon-mushroom tart. We both enjoyed the spinach-raspberry salad, before entrees of pan seared sea bass for me and the prime rib for DW. For dessert, DW enjoyed the sticky date pudding, I had cheesecake. After dinner we said our goodbyes to our service crew. It was a bit sad, we really enjoyed our time with them. I truly hope we get to see them again on a future cruise.
Quickly, after dinner, we made our way up to our stateroom to begin packing. We opted for the early disembark from the ship, which would leave us little time in the morning to pack. We worked quickly, because we had one very big activity left to finish our cruise.
The time had come for the last event of the cruise… Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales  :D We lined up outside the theater about an hour early, so we could grab good seats. We opted for the 3D showing in the Walt Disney Theater. The crowd was surprisingly small, and we were told that the 2D showing had more of a crowd. We were allowed in about 10:20, and at 10:45 it was showtime. Our cruise director came up mid-stage at a pirate ship helm, and the audience took part in an official countdown.
The movie was very good. The 3D didn’t help or hurt, but was a cool change of pace to enjoy. All of the trip’s activity really started to catch up with me about halfway through, but I managed to stay awake. We headed straight to bed after the movie, our last day was to start in a short 4-5 hours and would be another late one ahead.

You definitely have to pace yourself with the food… Shamefully, I have to admit, I’m still bragging about POTC to anybody who opens the door to the subject :smirk: We felt like some cool super-exclusive club seeing it
