    @starbee I will be trying this version over the weekend. I will still blend mine, and will try to get an ice measurement for everyone to add here. I love the cream of coconut version, but it gets expensive… and this looks pretty official, so time to try the colada mix in it!

    @RIDisneyPinGuy Let me know how it goes! Yeah I think that version would work better for me because we have issues trying to get certain things around here. We’ve been wanting to make the Citrus Thistle from Food and Wine, and we have the recipe, but we can’t find grapefruit sour mix anywhere! We’ve tried several local liquor stores with no luck, we can only find it online and the shipping is ridiculous. I don’t know if the difficulty is because of our bizarre liquor laws or what.

    I finally indulged in my Konk Coolers today, with the new recipe posted. If you multiply the ingredients by 4, and use about 3 1/2 cups of ice, the taste and consistency is pretty spot on. It makes about 2 hurricane glasses. I do find the other recipe a little more full-flavored, but this is the official one, and far more reasonable cost-wise.

    Has anyone tried the backscratcher from the Tambu Lounge? I made some at home and they were amazing

    @10dedfish
    That was one of my first WDW ‘favorites’. I order it any time I’m at Tambu or ‘Ohana, and yes, I make it at home. Surprisingly easy to make and get spot on.
