The amount of people looking down at their phones instead of their surroundings, traffic patterns, or :gasp: their children. It seems to get worse everytime I visit!
Also, I make a point to avoid the Hall of Presidents. It takes me way too far out of the fantasy setting I like to immerse myself in.
This Is exactly what I say! Sometimes wish these stupid phones never came about! Slaves we all are technology.
September 11, 2017 at 6:54 am #48145Also the major thing I don’t like about WDW is that there is no more spontenuity! You can longer go to a park with no plans and expect to be able to get on or see what you’d like. The whole planning your vaca 6 months out to me is ridiculous!

10dedfish177 XPI dont like how you have to stare at your phone now to keep track of everything. Wait times, fast passes, ADR’s. I just wanna go enjoy myself and unplug!

100% fact!
September 11, 2017 at 8:28 am #48158Many of the things already mentioned: tour groups, inconsiderate people who spread their group out across the entire width of the sidewalk, people who stop dead in their tracks, people who obnoxiously film, but also people with strollers who use them to barge you out of the way and take up more space than they need. Two people who hold a spot for the parade and then invite 10 of their friends to stand there and push you out of the way :hmmph:
September 11, 2017 at 8:29 am #48159Also, extremely long wait times and when your favorite ride is down for refurbishment when you visit.
I hate when my favorite ride is down for refurb, or when it goes down frequently due to a lack of refurb.
September 11, 2017 at 8:31 am #48160Test Track too! Ugh, we don’t even ride it anymore, even though the ride itself hasn’t changed much but the whole queue is a let down to me.
I don’t understand the new Test Track, okay you design a car to test it’s features but what is with the scenes? They say they’re testing it against weather in one scene or whatever but it all looks the same to me, I can’t tell what’s going on, and why does it need to be all futuristic? It looks kinda like they tried but failed to make a TRON ride. Loved the old ride, did GM really have the rights to the point where they had to scrap it and start over, or was that just another poor executive decision?
September 11, 2017 at 8:31 am #48161@starbee Still bummed about Splash, eh? I don’t blame you :|

I agree with this too, FP+ needs a lot of work. I can think of a couple advantages, sure, but overall it’s created numerous problems. I hate the tiers, I hate having to plan so far in advance, and I hate that you can only get a limited number of FPs. Again, I know if you use your 3 you can get more, but let’s be real, anything worth a FP is not available at that point so you’re basically limited to three with tier restrictions most of the time. The way Disney makes you plan to the Nth degree is pretty stressful for me. I feel so much more free, laid back, and like I accomplish much more when I’m at Universal – and I don’t even use their FP system!
September 11, 2017 at 8:40 am #48164@RocketEar99 I am, but only because it’s seems like such a catch 22. On our last trip we experienced 9 breakdowns plus an evacuation, it seemed like they were slacking on preventative maintenance. But at the same time, despite going to WDW only once every two years, there is always something down for refurb on our trip. Last time it was Big Thunder and the WDWRR, this time Splash. Why can’t it be It’s A Small World? Also I think September/October is a silly time to take Splash down. What’s wrong with January/February when I guarantee you it will be missed far less.
September 11, 2017 at 8:55 am #48169@starbee In the past they did close Splash down for all January which is why we wouldn’t go that month primarily When we saw it was being refurbed in the fall this time, we decided January wouldn’t be too bad. Otherwise in January they can typically rename Magic Kingdom the Scrim Kingdom with all the refurbs they’re doing But it is one of the least popular times to go so I can’t say I blame them.
I was actually shocked they decided to close Ellen and GMR in mid August! What the trash? And only gave a month’s notice too. Yeah still bitter about that. 2 months should be the minimum notice because that’s when resort guests book fastpasses. I wonder how many folks FPed GMR 60 days out only to have them cancelled
