    Steve, got to thinking it might be a good idea (or the worst ever) to have Disney TV show theme songs added, if it’s possible. Like a lot of parents I have a love/dislike relationship with many of the songs – I remember some from when I was a kid, or others from when they were younger.

    And of course, there’s nothing like having the random kid show theme song in your head all day, rather than an 80’s one hit wonder.

    What do you guys think?

    I think the aim of D-Cot is to provide music that’s played specifically in Disney Park locations, not to be a place for Disney music more generally. Having said that, there are times when things overlap, for example movie soundtracks are played in various locations such as The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and Pandora: The World of Avatar. If there are TV show theme songs that are played in the parks, they could be added or may even be in the Jukebox already. I’m thinking there may be some Disney Jr. songs in the Hollywood Studios playlist. For 80’s and 90’s shows many themes can be heard in the ABC Commissary loop, again in the Hollywood Studios playlist.

    I think there might also be an issue with copyrights but not entirely sure.

    I try to stick with music that’s played in the theme parks, but there are always exceptions or overlaps like what @starbee said. I definitely stay away from Disney OST and stuff like that.

    Since I have a license, we would be OK with playing any music.

    ok. but you gotta admit there’s nothing like having a TV show theme song stuck in your head all day, especially when it’s something like Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
