-Is anyone watching Animal Kingdom on TNT??? It has nothing to do with Disney’s Animal Kingdom but I’m addicted to it! It started last summer and they just finished up season two last night. Wow, what a finale. It’s a gritty and rough show! It certainly keeps you on your toes and takes you on a wild ride.
-I love, love, love The Office! If you haven’t watched that, please do.
-Downton Abbey was so well done and such an interesting show. I highly recommend it.August 31, 2017 at 6:51 am #46914Chuck – same; watched all the seasons in about 5 weeks during the holidays one year when there was nothing new on tv. A bit of advice, only watch thru S5:E8 – that episode offers a great feel-good ending and from there to the end of the season, it goes spectacularly off the rails.
@connie96 I agree, though I did enjoy how Jeffster saved the day in the final episode But yeah, Shaw was their best villain I think. Quinn was just too random.August 31, 2017 at 9:34 am #46949I feel in love with a show on ScyFi called The Magicians. It’s hard to describe but I’d say it’s Harry Potter meets Narnia meets the circle scenes from That 70’s Show. Sounds like a horrible mix on paper but it plays out amazingly well on screen. Season one is currently on Netflix and Seasons one and two are on ScyFi’s website. Season 3 starts in January
I watched the first two episodes of The Magicians – it is really good! Thanks for the head’s up!

Have to check that out!
August 31, 2017 at 11:02 am #46963Dang, this is hard. I’m going with shows that are currently airing. My three would be:
1) Stranger Things
2) Westworld
3) The Walking DeadStranger Things is a Netflix original show. Season 2 will be released late October. Westworld is on HBO and Season 2 will be out next year. The Walking Dead is on AMC and Season 8 airs October 22. Seasons 1-6 are currently on Netflix, Season 7 should be up pretty soon.
Stranger Things! just started watching this.
August 31, 2017 at 11:17 am #46964Oh gosh, I’m seeing so many other good shows in everyone’s responses that I left off my list! Have to agree with Parenthood, Stranger Things, Downton Abbey, The Office…and add Parks and Rec, This is Us, and Better Call Saul!

You’re very welcome. A friend of mine told me about it and I immediately got hooked.
September 1, 2017 at 12:43 pm #47136- LOST – I rewatched this twice and would do it again.
- Breaking Bad
- The Walking Dead
September 4, 2017 at 12:30 pm #47358My current love is Once Upon a Time. The way the fairy tale characters we grew up with are interwoven in present time is fascinating and I look forward to this show each week. The next season is a “reboot”, but I remain excitedly optimistic.
I have been watching HBO’s True Blood lately. I watched the first season when it was on, but then discontinued my HBO. I have it again and have been binge watching On Demand. It’s a little graphic, so not for everyone, but the story is pretty solid and fun.
I just started watching Midnight, Texas, and I think I really like it. It is based on a book series written by Charlain Harris (who also wrote the books True Blood is based on), and I have been very interested in the first season so far.
There’s my contribution!

September 5, 2017 at 8:43 am #47452For comedy specific shows (again, shows that are still airing) I would go with:
1. The Big Bang Theory
2. New GirlI have The Good Place on my Netflix list. I agree @disneybug The Office was awesome!
September 5, 2017 at 8:55 am #47455I thought of another series that I really, really liked. They only made one season, which I thought was a real shame but, if you get a chance, check out Forever. So, so good.
September 6, 2017 at 2:52 pm #47711I also love Friday Night Lights, The Walking Dead, & The Great British Baking Show! I can’t wait for TWD this fall! Negan must be destroyed!!!
