I was talking about TAs with some other moms and how they love to plan their own vacations because they think it’s fun. The ONLY reason they use a TA is for the simple reason of helping out a small business. Disney gives a percentage to the agency and the agency gives a percentage to the TA. THIS is what I’ve been saying! DIsney gets enough of our hard earned dollars – make them share the wealth!!!

Like those requesting extended Jungle Cruise tours, they should be referred to the booking office for immediate medical treatment! :p

My wife is a CM… she just goes on her portal and sees what comes up for room availability and that is where we decide where and when to stay down in WDW. We don’t have kids, so we are pretty flexible….. otherwise we would have no problem spreading the wealth.

Also, doing all our planning ourselves, we make sure all our “I”‘s are dotted and “T”‘s are crossed. This way we have no one else to blame for when things go wrong. We have had that happen before and the TA didn’t give a rats behind. It’s a trust issue….. I guess

Yeah CMs get the best rates! When we stay, a friend of ours books a room under his CM rate for us!
