    I just emailed in my first Cast Member Thank You note! As many times as we’ve been to Disney, I’ve been meaning to do that but just not always organized or forget names. This time, I sent one in for a server we had a Las Ventanas. Las Ventanas is a hidden gem in my opinion. Our server there was Analia. Such a terrific server. She even asked us how we liked our bacon – crispy? And the pressed pots of coffee….forget the parks….well almost. In fact, we loved Coronado Springs. The food at the Maya Grill was superb! Loved the guacamole with the warm house made tortilla chips…sooo good. :heart: I had to look around for the email address. Here it is if you ever want to send in a compliment or great review. wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com :up:

    I’ve actually written a couple of letters re: Disneyland cast members. And both times they were because of my brother and the wonderful care they showed him. The last one was on his last birthday in 2012, he and his best friend had driven to DL for the day. They stopped at the First Aid station to drop off his breathing machine (he had to take breathing treatments a couple of times a day) and then went on Pirates of the Caribbean. Shortly after that ride, Sam wasn’t feeling well so they went to FA to rest and take a treatment. They heard my brother and his friend discussing needing to leave because Sam wasn’t feeling well and one of the CM’s took it upon himself to call City Hall and see about getting a return ticket.
    City Hall granted the ticket for Sam and his friend. The ticket was good for a return visit for 2 people within the next year (since this was end of April, it was valid until end of April 2013).

    Unfortunately, Sam passed away later that year and was never able to use his part of the return ticket but we all went back to DL for his birthday in 2013 and his friend (and one of his other best friends) used their tickets. We made a point to stop by FA and let them know how much we appreciated what they did for my brother.

    Good for you! :clap: I’m the same way, I never remember CM names or the date to write a good report for them. I am very partial to Coronado Springs :heart: we got married there and had our reception at Las Ventanas. The staff were incredible and everyone raved about the food!

    @bexruns That is really awesome that they cared about your brother like that! Great job on letting them know that was appreciated, I’m sure they get more complaints than praises. I am so sorry for your loss :heart:

    Thank you. The people at the FA out here (I JUST realized this was the WDW forum, oops!) have for the most part been the same people so we’ve come to know them over the years. They’ve ALWAYS been wonderful to us and everyone I saw them interacting with.

    @bexruns I don’t think anyone is going to give you any grief over posting about DL cast members here. This technically could have gone in Mousellaneous anyway.

    Good on both of you for those wonderful compliments you wrote about cast members. I know for a fact that they are informed of each and every one. It’s a great way to easily make someone’s day! :clap: :up:

    @bexruns Don’t worry about the forum….I probably should have posted my thread in something more general. I appreciate any and all comments. That was so thoughtful of that CM to go the extra mile for your brother. I’m sorry you lost him. :heart: @starbee What a great place for a wedding reception. I couldn’t believe the quality and service. We go to WDW several times a year and eat all over but have not had the occasion to try the restaurants at Coronado Springs. Absolutely GREAT! :up:

    @bexruns You’re fine!

    @piglet54
    I think it’s fine where it is since for you it pertains to WDW, but I can move it to a different section of the forums if you’d like. Yes, they went above and beyond for us! We were so happy!

    I haven’t sent any e-mails putting in a good word for CMs, but I do go to Guest Relations at least once to compliment CMs. They make so much magic for so many other people so I make a little magic for them.

    Guest Relations! :up: Do you fill out something or just mention their names?

    You fill out a paper. Most times if you just tell them the CM’s name and role and what they did that was extra special they will fill it out for you
