bpellinen292 XPOur next trip will be the end of January in 2018. I like to make each trip a little different, so this time……it’s a surprise trip for my husband! I’m going to give it to him as his birthday present (end of October). I already have flights booked, and I’m waiting for Disney to release their packages for 2018 to finish booking everything else. I think we are going to stay in a Royal Room at Riverside, and we are going to try for the Keys to the Kingdom tour. The hardest part is hiding all this planning and stuff from my husband. Thankfully I work in a school, so I’ll be off for the summer. I can do a lot of the planning and stuff while he’s at work!!
April 23, 2017 at 12:20 pm #23583@starbee We actually have no ADR’s for 1 whole day, and we plan on eating LUNCH AND DINNER at the F&W for the whole day! We are hoping to try everything and eat for 8 hours straight
April 24, 2017 at 11:07 am #23693We will be there next month, from 5/19 to 5/22, a belated birthday trip for my daughter. We are spending 2 nights at the Grand Floridian Villas and 1 night at the Beach Club Villas. We are trying to make this a relaxing, mostly resort weekend. The only things we really have planned are the new Bon Voyage Character Breakfast, and the Pandora AP Preview on the 21st.

Sounds perfect! :mickey: I’d love to hear what you think of the Bon Voyage Character Breakfast! (And of course the Pandora preview )
April 24, 2017 at 12:05 pm #23708Yessssss @kcboston I am so excited to hear all about your Pandora preview! I am so excited for you! Also, I read about the Bon Voyage Character Breakfast, and that looks really cute too. I look forward to hearing your opinion
April 24, 2017 at 12:07 pm #23709A really nice getaway planned kc! Can’t wait to hear about it also!
April 24, 2017 at 12:07 pm #23710We just miss you for the Pandora preview!

That’s who we are most excited for! When I told my daughter about the breakfast and that Flynn Rider was there, she started blushing and getting that little shifty look on her face
I just booked Cammie on a Pirate Adventure Cruise leaving from the GF marina, so we’ll get a little time to relax by the pool on our own
And thanks @Nascfan, @Acamm, and @Starbee, we seriously can’t wait! I’m trying sooooo hard to plan as little as possible, but it’s a real challenge! :p
April 24, 2017 at 12:34 pm #23723June 1-11 a big whopping 10 day visit for the 5 of us. 7 day PHs for the kids (hubby and i have APs) and staying at the AoA for the first time. hitting AK -1, EP -2, MK -2 and HS-2. of course AK is open 11-1 so i’m sure there will be a late night there to see Pandora in the dark. Restaurants include Planet Hollywood, Yak & Yeti, Mama Melrose (Fantasmic), Sci Fi, Garden Grill for breakfast and Teppan Edo. kids are psyched and countdown calendar is in full swing…
April 24, 2017 at 12:40 pm #23727@kcboston I bet that is hard to make minimal plans. The plans that you have made though sound so perfect!
@jamiedawn27 10 Days!! The suites at AoA look so spacious and comfy! Pandora in the dark sounds so awesome, and I’m so looking forward to that myself.April 24, 2017 at 12:59 pm #23735
StupidJudy71 XPOur next trip is far away, spring break 2018, it’s just easier to go then since the kids are out of school and work isn’t too busy for me to get away.
Plans are to spend a week at a value (maybe Pop, too early to say) and since we have friends who live near Disney we are planning on a day trip to the beach towards the end of the week. The rest of the time we will be on Disney property, need to save some time for swimming and Disney Springs which we didn’t get to visit since it changed from Downtown Disney to Disney Springs! Looking forward to Pandora and Rivers of Light.
April 24, 2017 at 1:23 pm #23746Our next trip is in mid-August (right before my wife has to go back to teach school). Neither of us have been there in August so we imagine the middle of the day will be crazy hot. We’re bringing a friend with us who hasn’t been to WDW since shortly after Epcot opened and we’re looking forward to seeing the place through her eyes, especially the Animal Kingdom!
We’re staying at AKV-Jambo House, which we’ve never stayed at before (we’ve previously stayed at Kidani). We have dining reservations at:
Boma for breakfast
Brown Derby for lunch with Fantasmic! Dining Package (this will be our first time using the package)
Be Our Guest for lunch
Garden Grill for dinner
Sanaa for lunch
Kona Cafe for breakfastWe’re planning on park touring in the mornings, breaks in the afternoons from the heat and the crowds, and park evening shows and entertainment. Should be a fun trip!
April 24, 2017 at 2:00 pm #23750@rocketear99 I think you have a great plan! We’ve been in August and yeah it’s pretty hot, but there’s often rain to cool you down. I think you’ll love the Fantasmic Dining Package at the Derby!
@jamiedawn27 Love your ADR choices!April 24, 2017 at 2:23 pm #23751@starbee thanks! most are new except teppan edo (but that’s my daughter’s birthday choice). we’ve done garden grill before but not for breakfast and we haven’t been to PH since it’s been completely redone so i think that’ll be nice on our non-park day – at least it will force us to be up by noon
