    Thursday September 28th:
5:45am alarm so we could go for a run. We couldn’t bring ourselves to get up after our long day yesterday. So we got up at 6:30am instead. We got ready and were down to breakfast at the food court by 7:50am and split the bounty platter with 2 waffles instead of 1 waffle and 1 biscuit. We waled to the bus stop at 8:15am and the bus just pulled up for HS. We were thru the turnstiles by 8:40am for the 9am rope drop. We went straight to Toy Story once we were released from our hold. We had just a 10 minute wait and got to go to the new loading area, no stairs!!! ;) I actually beat Ryan this morning!!! But we both scored over 190k! We got a pic with Cruz Ramirez since that photo opp is right at the exit to the new track! There was just one family ahead of us! Our plan was to move thru the park in order so we weren’t back tracking. So next stop would be One Man’s Dream, but it doesn’t open until 10am! So we proceeded to Launch Bay and met Kylo Ren in less than 5 minutes. We never get good pictures with him! We keep trying, but we either have awkward expressions and they don’t wait of us to pose before taking the pictures, or this time our pictures were so dark you could barely see any of us. We then went to meet BB8 with a 15 minute wait. We found a hidden Mickey in the queue up on the wall near a light fixture! We then went to the Little Mermaid show that started at 10am. This show is so underwhelming and I’m honestly surprised it’s still running! Not even close to Disney standards! We then went to RRC for our 10:25am FP. Then we caught the Beauty and the Beast 11am show, we haven’t seen this show since 2009 or 2010! It’s pretty cute! Not one of my top Disney shows, but still good. Then off to our Tower of Terror FP at 11:30am. We stopped by Starbucks to get strawberry iced tea for our lunches. We were going to go to lunch, but saw we could just catch the noon show of Indiana Jones instead of waiting until the 1:15pm show, so we got seats on the far side. We haven’t seen this show since 2009! Even though it hasn’t changed at all, it’s still neat to see! I was also so happy that they installed the HUGE ceiling fans in here and we were in the strong breeze of it! We then grabbed lunch at PizzoRizzo. I got the gluten free pizza and Ryan got the meatball sub. Both were good! We then went to Star Tours for our 1:30pm FP’s. I was then able to book our 4th FP for Test Track since we were planning to hop there soon. We then watched the Muppets show at 2pm, haven’t seen this in years too! Have you noticed that pattern yet?! We don’t typically spend much time in HS, so we rarely do shows. But since everything is unknown for the chopping block, we figured we should see all of the shows, just in case! The only one we skipped was the Frozen Sing Along, I couldn’t get Ryan on board. We were then able to swing into One Man’s Dream, saw the new Toy Story Land Model and the section of the Star Wars Land Model. We then met Groot & Star Lord with a 25 minute wait. Groot was so cute! And Star Lord had to explain to Groot that Ryan was wearing a hat and that it wasn’t really a part of him, but could come off of him. Groot was confused. This made a lot more sense after we saw Guardians of the Galaxy 2! I was so happy to see that they were actually playing the Walt Story in the theater today and not a movie preview!! So we sat and enjoyed it again since it’s been a while since we were there when they showed this film. It just makes my heart so happy! On our way out, we caught the SW Stage show.

We decided to walk to EPCOT, we usually do. We refilled our mug and water bottle at the Beach Club pool station. This is one of the reasons we like to walk instead of taking the boat! It was so insanely hot out that we had already gone through all of our water in our pack and it holds over 100 ounces of water. We had even refilled it with water cups at lunch! So we filled it full of ice and water. On our way into the International Gateway, Cruela was out greeting guests, so we waited about 5 minutes. We went to Test Track and used our FP at 4:35pm. We went into the Festival building but there wasn’t anything going on today. We did get our large F&W AP buttons though. We then went and checked out the new Green Side on Mission Space. We went into our first room and watched the pre-boarding video but they never came for us. We only had a half full room. We waited and waited and finally the back big door opened again and the CM said there was a slight delay but it wouldn’t be long. So we were all just chit chatting. After a few more minutes, they received a phone call that our section wasn’t going to be able to board. So they moved us all to another pre-boarding room that was half full. We rewatched the movie and then proceeded in. Ryan and I were the only two in our shuttle. We had a delayed start in there as well. It is completely different! Way easier on the stomach and head if I’m being sensitive that day! We logged on and got a Soarn FP for 6:15pm. We ended up releasing it later because we made a change of plans to head to Disney Springs in a bit and wanted to try out several food booths! We stopped at: Coastal Eats fro shrimp scampi dip, Earth Eats for Beef Skewers, Flavors of Fire for Piggy Wings and Chocolate Picante, China for Duck Bao, Germany for fresh caramel corn and dark chocolate sea salt caramel. I stopped by Rinse Soap that had a booth there. I love their all clean and natural bath products and use it at home, they gave an AP discount too! We took some pics at the front of the park before heading to the DS bus. The DS bus is in the farthest possible bus section in the island out there! We barely caught the bus and the driver was trying to give us a hard time and joke that is the was the bus Saratoga Springs and not DS! I guess he had been joking that with everyone! LOL

We were dropped off at 7:45pm. We stopped in Fit to Run for Ryan to try on some running shoes. Then stopped in Erin McKenna’s for a chocolate chocolate cupcake and a coffee donut. Then Ghirardelli’s for Ryan I saved my donut for breakfast. We stopped in several shops before heading to the boat dock to Riverside at 10pm. We were in our room at 10:45pm after stopping in the food court to fill up our water bottle. Lights out after 11pm.

I looooove the new Toy Story track! It goes with the original theming of being in Andy’s bedroom! Nice scores too, I bet!
The Kylo Ren meet is so fun, but I agree on never getting good pictures. BB-8 is also a really cool one! :kylo: :bb8:
Disney seriously needs to redo or replace Little Mermaid. I remember seeing it back in 2015, and all the effects were working. Seeing how most of it is defunct but it has SOOOOO many showtimes is kind of sad, especially since Disney is putting money in things like buying Fox or replacing Ellen’s Energy Adventure. :ariel:
THE EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD, THE INDIANA JONES CEILING FANS!! LOL
How daaaaaaaaaare you not see the Muppets every time! :goofy:
You guys really nailed the Studios! You’re not missing much with the Frozen show, it’s just a re-telling of Frozen with the songs and some good comedy :olaf:
IMO, Groot is the only good thing to come out of replacing a good chunk of One Man’s Dream. But now we have the Toy Story Land models, and that’s pretty cool. Many of the references for the meet and greet do require seeing the movie, like in my first time meeting them, they mentioned Mr. Blue Sky.
They seriously need to KEEP the Walt film playing! Move the movie previews to the Magic Eye Theater!
Did you check out the chocolate sculptures in the Festival center?
What a crazy Mission: SPACE event!!!! I love the new Green, even if it’s just slight turning for 5 minutes LOL :horizons:

@sej101 I agree! Lovevthe theming! And we were happy with our scores! We got a few of the hidden bonus screens to pop up! I think they take bad pics with Kylo on purpose! LOL BB8 is just so cute!! I completely agree on :ariel: :dingle: :ursela: The storyline is even laughable with how abbreviated it is with the live actors. Those ceiling fans are the saving grace of the day!! LOL Keep in mind, we seriously are usually only in HS for 2-3 hours per trip! Just enough time for Tower, Rockin Roller Coaster, Toy Story, Star Tours and Star Wars fireworks! LOL
That’s good to know about the Frozen show! Groot is so cute! Now that we’ve seen Guardians a couple of times I think it would make more sense! I like your idea!! I LOVE the Walt film so much and he should always be represented and honored there. Great idea on moving the previews! Or they could at least alternate between the Walt one and the preview during the day. Or alternate at each showing.
We did check out the chocolate sculptures! Always cool to see!
It was an event at Mission Space for sure! LOL I’m liking the green side as something different! And some days I can’t handle orange, so it’s nice to have options!

Those Toy Story Bonus screens are so helpful!
“How do we begin the Little Mermaid show?” “How about you start with Under the Sea and then shorten everything :ursela:
All days I can’t handle Orange. And it always has a longer line!

The bonus screens are super helpful!!
You absolutely nailed it! :ariel: :dingle: :ursela:
I’m sorry you can’t handle orange any day. But glad you can check out the green side! I’m liking the green side right now since it’s new! And if my head isn’t up for the spinning, this is the perfect option!

I always wondered who the crazy people were that went running or used the workout rooms in the morning before going to the parks. Now I know! LOL! I guess going to the parks is plenty of workout for me with all of that walking and heat!

Did the old Mission Space Green make you sick? I never had a problem with the Green version. I never tried the Orange version as I was afraid if it made me sick, I would miss out on the good EP food and drinks!

I love the Beauty and the Beast show just for the costumes and the music! Glad you got to see it again after so much time. I assume it might be on the chopping block at some point.

Haha!! Yes, we are those crazy people that run on vacation!! Well, usually!! The heat was so intense on this trip that we never had the energy to get out there and run.

The old green version didn’t give me many issues. But Ryan always preferred Orange, so that’s what we rode if I was up for it. I think I only did old green once! I really like the new green! I wouldn’t want to miss out on all the good food either!!! But orange is much more intense.

The Beauty and the Beast show was cute and fun! I’m glad we caught it again! And I agree, as with many thins in Hollywood Studios, I’m sure it will be on the chopping block one day!
