Pixar Pier to Bring New Incredicoaster and More to Disney California Adventure Park Summer 2018

Personally, I’m excited to see the transformation. I don’t feel much loss to California Screamin’, as I believe this will only be a re-skin with a new soundtrack (which is a really great song). I’m also glad for Paradise Park because I love those carnival style rides.

What are your thoughts?

At first glance, not bad. As long as the actual ride of Screamin’ remains and it’s a re-skin, I’m good with that part. It’s a great ride!

I’m ok with this. Calafornia Screamin’ is fun but it doesn’t tie in to anything. As a writer myself I love Disney storytelling and look forward to the new skin

Just in time for your trip @acamm!

I am sure it’ll be great, from the sounds of it the ride will stay the same with new theming, phew! I liked the area the way it was though, it felt very old timey New Jersey boardwalk. Ah well !

But the real question is this: Since they are changing basically everything about the paradise pier area (and the park really) is it REALLY California Adventure anymore? Or is it Pixar Adventure?

It’s been a Pixar playground since Cars Land, Bug’s Land, and Monster’s Inc.

Yeah but now with an even larger part of the park being taken over…….all that’s left is ToT area in Hollywood and Grizzly Peak.

I’m very excited about this!! Especially since it’s just a re-skin! I honestly don’t have a problem with more Pixar in California Adventure. For me, I would rather see Pixar and the new stuff going in at California Adventure and allowing Disneyland to be more Classic!
