bexruns374 XPQuestion for the masses: Do you find this to be a good value? Since mom and I will be at the parks for 3 days, I’m exploring the option of getting the week pass. This means all photos that I link to the photopass are included, correct? I experienced the Knott’s version of this last week and found it to be pretty awesome. As soon as I purchased the day pass, we linked all the photos and they were on my account almost immediately (like, within minutes) and was able to download them to my account right away. Does Disney load them to your account that quickly too?
Any tips or advice are welcome!
April 3, 2017 at 11:31 am #20785We love Photo Pass Plus (Now the Memory Maker)! We do it every time we go! You also get all your ride photos as well! Be sure to stop any place you see a Photo Pass photographer, and be sure to ask them for the “special magic”!! The pics showed up on My Disney Experience app on my phone within minutes.
April 3, 2017 at 11:40 am #20787Yes, I love Photo Pass and I highly recommend it. I believe for our last 8 day trip, we ended up with 200 photo pass photos. Some of the Disney photographers are soooo nice and will take a whole photo session with you and your family! I really like how the pictures are available in your MDE so that you can look at them almost immediately. You can ride Splash Mountain, and by the time you are next door in the queue at Big Thunder Mountain, you can be looking at your Splash photos on your phone.

bexruns374 XPIt looks like the Memory Maker is only at WDW and DL only has PP+ (at least from what I can tell).
I know Disney photographers are always really good at making sure the photos come out well or they keep taking them! If I’m going to pay $78 for 3 days of photos, you better bet your hiney I’m gonna get as many as I can!April 3, 2017 at 12:03 pm #20792
StupidJudy71 XPWith my kids I don’t bother, trying to get them to take a picture with my phone is an ordeal, imagine if I had to tell them to wait for PhotoPass pics a bunch of times a day! :|
With adults it’s a different story! On our last trip a friend who has an AP and gets free Memory Maker was linked to our MDE account so she was able to download all the ride pics for me, bonus!
April 4, 2017 at 8:30 am #20880i wouldn’t do it unless you plan on stopping at every spot and do tons of characters. don’t get me wrong, i love having it on my phone…but it comes with the AP so I take it for granted. not sure i’d pay that much. plus some photographers are wonderful…but some need some disney magic cuz they snap snap snap and move you on without any care for how the pictures look…centered, closed eyes, etc.

See, this is what I’m thinking. My mom is totally down to do character photos and I like the on ride photos being included. And $78 for 3 days worth of pics (even if that’s 5 photos a day, it’s already worth it if you think about how much each individual picture costs). that’s not bad at all!
April 5, 2017 at 9:43 am #21135That really isn’t a bad price at all. If you are willing to stop and get photos, which it seems you are, that could totally be worth it.
April 18, 2017 at 1:58 pm #22909My sister and I LOVE The Memory Maker!!! I always complain because she makes us stop at EVERY chance we can, but I am always happy at the end because we have SO many awesome photos!! I love how they can add “extra magic” and some have videos of the rides!! Worth every penny!!
