I would love everyone’s opinion about upcoming trip with three small children (2 girls aged 7 and 4, 1 boy aged 1 1/2)! We have 6 park days, and I was originally planning to do 3 days in MK, plus one day in each of the other parks. Now I’m second guessing myself and wondering if we should do a second day at EPCOT (it’s sooo big and there’s a lot to do and see in World Showcase). What would you all do? I have done Disney plenty of times by myself; I just want it to be perfect for them!

Will you have park hoppers? If so, then you could maybe spend 1.5 days at Epcot and then hop back to Magic Kingdom. If not, then I think that your plan of 3 days in MK, 1 day at AK, 1 day at HS, and 1 day at Epcot sounds perfect for their ages. Magic Kingdom is where they will be the happiest most likely… with all of the characters, and parades, and the castle! :minniebow:

I think I fall pretty much with Aimee above. There is a lot in World Showcase for us adult and older children but I’m not entirely sure about those ages. Ask yourself if they’d enjoy the Kidcot spot a lot or if they’re a little young for that yet. My kid is 26 so I really don’t have recent experience with little ones but it still seems like MK is going to be where most of the action will be for them.

Aimee nailed it pretty good. Magic Kingdom is where your kids will have the most fun and with three days, you’ll be able to take your time and enjoy it all.

Have you been with kids this age before?

If you have park hoppers, you could add a second Epcot day and maybe if everyone’s done move back to the Magic Kingdom as Acamm suggested. It is big and if your girls are anything like my nieces, they will love the character spots around the World Showcase! My nieces were similar in age to your girls on our last trip, 4 and 8. But your original plan of 3 Magic Kingdom days is great too. I would say that park is most appropriate for young children, and there’s plenty to do there too! We did not accomplish everything we wanted to in our two MK days last trip – and that was without kids!

Thanks for the thoughts, everyone! We didn’t invest in park hoppers (last time we did it with our then-5 year old, it wasn’t worth it because she wanted to focus a whole day in one park and would get upset if we hopped elsewhere after nap). I think I will stick with my plan of 3 days of MK – I bet they will be more than happy with that!

I think they will be! And I don’t blame you on the Park Hoppers, we went a good number of years without them because of how much we saved in money by not upgrading to hoppers, and time from not traveling between parks. The price difference really adds up for a family! We got a good deal on hoppers last year so we went for it then, but otherwise we probably wouldn’t have.
