I’m trying to book a trip to Disneyland for September 16th & I can’t find any rooms available on property for the month of September. A suite pops up available once in a while, but that’s out of my budget. Are there refurbs (other than Pixar Place Hotel) I’m not finding online or am I completely missing something? Crowd calendars look like September is a good time to go, but I can’t seem to get there.

I don’t know about any refurbs but so sorry to hear that. I don’t know if this an option for you but have you looked into any of the good neighbor hotels? Some of them are actually closer to the parks than actual on property. Just a thought that might help.

That might be the only way we can get there is. I’m starting to think about waiting until next year. The problem is we have park tickets that we purchased last year that expire in January. It’s a long story, but we’ve been trying to get to Disneyland since April 2023 & haven’t been able to get there.

Oof. Well if my thoughts mean anything at all I say check into those and go if you can get into one. Honestly, some have free breakfast, many easy walking distance to the parks, and I’d hate to see those tickets expire on you. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel in 2014. It was awesome and we loved it but we totally will be looking at the good neighbor options next time we go and will probably go with one of them.

I’d recommend the Good Neighbor hotel Candy Cane Inn. It’s right behind Carsland in DCA and a short walk to the Esplanade and entrances to both parks. They also have a large continental breakfast each morning so that will save you money in the parks.
